I remember when i was a teen & we had an unusually very cold winter (days below 0C) and a water mains burst in the street in front of our house. We had a geyser for a couple hours until they shut it down & then we had no water. They had to tear up the whole street & replace the pipe. Mom was OK with that as the whole street had been complaining about the crappy road anyway!
I’m gonna hate my next electricity bill! Had the A/C on several times the past Month. Had it on the past two days straight! No choice. *shrug*
