One of the ways that Trump is worse than Hitler is that Trump doesn’t care enough to commit his cruelties for a reason. He just doesn’t care who gets hurt or how badly.

It’s well known for some time the GOP never cares about consequences. Even when this becomes an obviously bad thing for the USA in general, they will just blame {insert some group here}! But really, they simply do NOT care about anyone but themselves & their agenda’s & never have.

Even with that money and effort, without the Feds pushing to reunite families a significant percentage of families will forever separated. This is a major own goal and a disaster for innocent children.

I hope the Trump family realizes that they shouldn’t travel to Europe, because they can be charged by the separated families in European courts. Spanish courts are quite willing to take cases from Central and South America. The three oldest Trump “children” are the ones that belong in cages.

Especially for the younger children where HHS has placed them with state CPS, CPS is going to get a judgement of parental abandonment and put them up for adoption after a year. They aren’t going to try to reunite the child with an international parent that they have no idea how to locate, that simply isn’t their job.

And some children will end up languishing in foster care until they’re aged out, at which point, lacking documents, they’ll likely be deported back to a home country they barely even remember.

One of my clients in San Diego County was the foster care provider for the area, and they occasionally asked me to hang around after I fixed whatever they had called me about because a “supervised visit” was taking place and the Sheriff didn’t have a deputy available.

Women’s health clinics and foster care offices moved people in and out like a spy exchange at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Presidential motorcades come close the the subterfuge involved.

Given all of the restrictions on information placed on people who care for children who are wards of the state, if DHS doesn’t have excellent records, and we know they don’t, a lot of money is going to be spent on DNA testing to reunite families after Trump’s clusterfuck at the border.

They’re putting toddlers in front of judges without representation to make their case that they’re refugees, and of course the terrified kids can’t do anything except wail in that situation so they’re put back with foster parents who, eventually, will be able to adopt them after CPS severs parental rights for “abandonment”. And of course their now-deported parents aren’t going to be able to get back into the country to fight the abandonment claim.

Meanwhile CPS can’t even keep track of the kids that it already has, nevermind the thousands of new kids flooding into the system, and half of girls who go through the system end up raped at one time or another. What a crock.

They are putting little kids in cages – fuck civility. We accepted about 20,000 Southeast Asian refugees at the local fairgrounds which is actually part of Eglin AFB. They were in tent cities. Now we have pretty good Asian restaurants. I’m still pissed about not having taco trucks on every corner.

(Actually, that wasn’t far from what they actually *did* publish back then.)
