At some point I had a T-shirt that said “Sarcasm is another Service I provide”. I spent so many years being “nice” to customers that I used up my life time allotment.

I have done a lot of dangerous things in my life, but I never pretended that I didn’t know they were dangerous, or that some of them were “hold my beer” stupid. I got away with them, but that makes me lucky, not smart.

There were “hard hat” rules in place after the deputy made his quick scan before releasing the property to us. No sandals or flip flops and gloves were mandatory. In addition to the rounds, there were hypodermic needles, and the occasional small plastic bag with unknown residue. I made sure people understood that they didn’t want their fingerprints on anything.

The renter thought the rounds made an “artistic statement”. I told him that “batshit crazy” was not artistic.

That is…just…insane. You know, I think I would just have to call these people and ask “Why?”. No matter how ridiculous, there has to be what they considered a REASON in their mind for doing this. It might make a story in itself. Hope you don’t find any other little booby traps as you go along. I’d keep a close eye as I walked through this house. No telling what else they got up to if this is an example of what they do in their spare time.

This one gets first place in the Crazy Renter category.
