Actually, we could get a good start by getting rid of all of the road blocks to the enforcement of current laws put in place by NRA’s Congresscritters. Then we could start confiscating the weapons owned by people when they are convicted or adjudged of crimes or conditions that cost them their right to bear arms. Believe it or not there is no system in place to take the weapons. In a domestic violence case this is vital, but it doesn’t get done.
Laws that aren’t enforced are a waste of ink and paper.
