No one thought this through. Trump has had two years with Republicans in control of both houses of Congress and he didn’t get his ‘wall’, so why should the Democrats give it to him?

This won’t go on for months, because the Senate is going to have to get to work and pass the bills before them. If this goes beyond a month, the GOP can kiss 2020 goodbye.
