And Now For Somethings…

Completely different:

On Crooks & Liars Daily Show: Mexicans Are Stealing The Wall. Between fits of laughter, Trevor Noah reports that Mexicans are “recycling” the razor wire that Trump had the military add to Wall. They are selling it to home owners in the wealthy colonias to top their walls. The Mexicans are building walls and Trump is paying for it… 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Former Florida Congresscritter Alan Grayson was known for is ‘unusual’ ties that he claims his children bought for him but he has nothing on Commons Speaker John Bercow. Every tie he wears strains the limits of the “colour” wheel, and I say that as someone who shopped on Carnaby Street in London in the late 60s early 70s.

What’s wrong with that tie? Looks jazzy to me, and very “Second Life.”
😀

It’s not just that tie, it is every tie he wears. Yesterday looked like lavender toothpaste on white silk with a lavender shirt. Outside of Parliament he wears crew-neck sweaters with broad horizontal stripes. I suspect he is having everyone on 😉

I tweeted that C&L/TDS link! Got quite a few laughs. Also a link to this thread.

John Bercow reminds me of my previous Shrink, whom retired in Dec. He’d wear green slacks with colorful tartan socks and had many patterned bow ties! 😆

I’ll not be online much. Had enough of the bad, & truly insane, news for awhile. Like These:

And I have some new interesting games to keep me busy for awhile. Like this one from a small Indi Game Studio. it’s their 2nd Narrative Adventure style game, with more interaction. I love the commentary, it’s fun & at times quite personal. really add’s a nice dimension to the game. Plus it’s pretty relaxed & can be played at my own pace. Also free for now, but I bought it after an hour playing the free version. It’s worth it. Plus, the major greedy Game Coy’s deserve to rot for eternity! All the best games I’ve played the past year, have been from small independent Studios. All the worst, major game coy’s for outrageous prices (Destiny 2 was the latest disaster, given away free in Nov. barely a year after launch! But has a ton of “micro transactions” if you want to get anywhere!) But it’s a waste of money/time as the game is soooooo boringly predictable! One review likened the enemies to the old Space Invaders – Move Left, shoot, Right, shoot. It really is that bad! Dumbest game AI ever!)

OK! Time to make a Mediterranean Pizza (some of the veggies have been roasting). 👍🏾🤤

The world in general is coming unglued. Between Trump and Brexit I don’t expect much improvement in the near future. The Sled Dog races are over and the Tour de France isn’t until July, so we need to soldier through to the other side.

Yeah, some games get a pattern and don’t deviate in any meaningful way. It’s almost as if the coder developed OCD while trying to get the program out the door. They are sitting there with several menus of choices and never come up with anything new. It’s ok for a few plays, but then you figure it out and are on autopilot. Maybe it’s just us because we have been trained to look for and react to patterns.

The theft of the razorwire really was a hoot. Mexicans recycle everything.

I’m waiting for the American equivalent of the Mexican recyclers, the meth-head scrappers, to attack it from the other side. That’s a lot of metal, that’s a lot of meth if you take it to the recyclers! Yes, it’d be dangerous, but we’re talking about people who steal the wiring out of light poles for cryin’ out loud….

BTW, Florida Man is at it again. Bestiality (of a sort) at a Walmart… the only thing this story is missing to make it more Florida is an alligator.

Remember, boys and girls, neigh means neigh. 🙂

If it had been real animals he would have avoided an arrest as bestiality still isn’t illegal in Florida. The legislature keeps avoided doing anything about it. Walmart has rules about that sort of thing [and obviously needs them]. 😉

They’ll get to it. Military razor wire is stainless steel, not as valuable as copper, but not bad. People in the desert, those who actually live there, find uses for almost anything.

What a week! Been having a lot of problems with twitter “Shadow deleting” anti-trump/pro-Dem tweets or any about “Terrorism” after Christchurch. I’d heard last year that Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud increased his Twitter shares, but I didn’t know by how much. Turns out, he is now Twitters 2nd largest Shareholder.

I retweeted a tweet by Rep. Adam Schiff yesterday & it was deleted. I tried two different way’s (even one with no comment) and they were also deleted. This is his original tweet:

https://twitter.com/RepAdamSchiff/status/1111741081731907585

I also left this comment on his tweet with a link to Trump’s latest $$ scam involving Schiff and by his Official Trump Team:

I can’t see how that can be legal!!

Ehhhh… I need a movie & hot cacao! (it’s currently 15C @ midnight. We have an *unusual* cold snap apparently.) I went out and the wind was freezing! Apparently, it’s already snowing high in the Alps in a couple places! Feels like June.

In the US you can’t really ‘defame’ a politician. Political speech is the most protected form of speech under the US Constitution according to multiple decisions of the US Supreme Court. The Trumpkins are the lowest of low lifeforms so you just ignore them. The problem about complaining is that there is more than enough evidence that the “Founding Fathers” conducted campaigns that were even nastier than today and they often ended in duels, as in the case of Alexander Hamilton & Aaron Burr.

Trump wasn’t exonerated by the Mueller report, Mueller apparently didn’t feel he had enough evidence for a conviction. That’s why the House oversight committees want to see the raw evidence. The standard of proof for impeachment is different.

Things have just been lousy here and around the world. Weather wise things are slowly getting better.
