The parties only seem to be concerned with elections. As soon as one election is over, they start asking for money to campaign for the next election. Do something, then we can talk about donations.

You’re right, it is going to take as much, if not more time to fix all of the problems the conservatives cause whenever they get in power. The Democrats are going to need at least 8 years in total control to repair all of the problems the Republicans have caused.

I’ve been pretty pissed off the past… while (I can’t even give a guesstimate!) about the state of Global politics & the incredible ignorance & stupidity of Humans. I had enough of our morons here & posted a tweet to hopefully (a small hope) wake up a few morons who seem to think everything is going to be fixed as soon as the *other* party is elected to fix it all! It applies as well to the USA, UK and any other nation where the criminals are running things.

I would hope that the troops have figured out that he just wants to use them for a photo op and doesn’t really value them or their service.

After Nuremberg “I was only following orders” gets you nothing in court. That point was hammered home for me in basic training. It was also mentioned in the police academy.

Then when he left the room, agents looked at their supervisors and said, “what do we do?” Their supervisors told them to follow the law, because if they knowingly violated a judge’s orders, they could be held personally liable.

Yeah, the list of people willing to go to jail for Trump is declining day by day….

I’m in a waiting cycle – waiting for the real Mueller Report, waiting for Trump’s tax returns, waiting for the Democrats to stop talking and start doing. Trump is getting worse every day as he realizes that the majority of people are not willing to go to jail for him. His act works for the Mafia because they understand loyalty is a two-way street and leaders have to be loyal to their followers. Trump believes that it is a one-way street, so Michael Cohen cut a deal and people in government aren’t going to break the law just because he tells them to [unless they are too stupid to understand they are breaking the law.]

I trying to decide if what Trump is doing to Homeland Security is closer to Stalin’s Purge, or Hitler’s Night of the Long Knives. I’m leaning towards Trump reflecting his German roots… 😈

I hope that Scot is planning on getting the cat spayed or he could have a very interesting time in a few months.

As for Homeland Security giving up watching domestic threats, they have no resources now that they need to spend 24/7 demonizing asylum seekers at the Southern border because Native American women and children seeking asylum from violence in their home countries are a greater danger than white guys with infantry weapons who kill dozens of US citizens. Hell, the FBI lists eco-terrorists who haven’t ever killed anyone as the number 1 terrorist threat.

The Secretary of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, just “resigned” because she wasn’t tough enough on the border – not a single ‘lamp shade made from the skin of an immigrant child’ in the entire department, and failure to violate enough US laws and judicial rulings to suit Trump.

I saw that CBS piece just before I came back to respond to you. Those middle school kids want to get other kids into their sport. They were raised right, to do right.

The active shooter drills have gotten out of hand. Several people were injured when the people ‘playing the shooters’ used Airsoft 6mm plastic BBs. When you use them in combat games everyone wears protective gear like vests, goggles, and helmets. The teachers got bruised. Teachers didn’t sign up for combat obstacle courses. This is dangerous.

Pretty much everything important is on hold, waiting for the process to work its way to the end. First there are requests, then subpoenas, followed by court rulings, appeals, and finally the Supreme Court all design to run out the clock.
