I spent a decade reading Soviet propaganda as part of my job in the military, so I can recognize it in my sleep. Whether it’s in Pravda or FaceBook, it sounds and feels the same. A lot of it probably starts at the Agitation & Propaganda ministry in St. Petersburg, Russia. It reads the same, the same flow and vocabulary.
