“Useful idiot” is an official class of “fellow travelers” (sputniki) under the Soviet agitprop plan. They didn’t cost anything but, possibly, a minimum of ‘kompromat’. I was passed over for an assignment to the Moscow embassy. The were worry about being lured by “beautiful women” and compromising photos. I told the interviewer that they were messed up. If they got photos with a “beautiful Russian agent” I would want copies for my friends along with copies of “To Russia With Love”. 😉 Security guys are often weird and prudish people.

That sounds like my version of Covid, except extended. More annoying than anything else and it would change a bit before it finally went away.

Sounds lie a good way of killing time while waiting to recover. I turned on the Pi and messed around before going back to work on windows. I had a hard time concentrating when sick, so rather than messing anything up, I played for a while.

"Carlson is a “useful idiot”" That's an understatement, the 2nd part for certain. Regarding your FYI... I did not know that! Glad I can still learn things. Thank you. OT: The past Month or so have been very hit & miss for me. My online time has been erratic. But I think I'm over whatever it was all about! Started with a head cold (I hate Summer head colds!) But it kind of dragged on longer than normal and was somewhat debilitation & variable. I'd feel fine for a bit or awhile, then suddenly not so much. GP has no clue (monitoring it), I don't have a fever. Oh well... I'll add it to my list! Since I've been feeling much better the past couple days, I celebrated by buying some very new games I wanted!
