Jennifer got hurt on the Steps, a staircase of large flat stones that they encounter coming down from the Alaskan Ridge. If you lose the proper trail you can get thrown off your sled or you and the sled can get busted up. That’s part of the “fun” of running the Iditarod.

My clothes dryer saga continues. I had to order more parts. My new keyboard has a good feel after I discovered the secret of calming the light show.

Glad to hear that your troubles are coming under control. Getting old sucks, but it’s better than the alternative 😉

A shame about Jennifer LaBar, but I think she made the right choice all things considered. I hope she has better luck next year. 🙂
