We once had reporters presenting the news, people like Ed Morrow and Walter Cronkite, now we have performers just reading their lines.

It’s all just Hollywood in drag now, but without the relative honesty. At least Hollywood admit their productions are works of fiction (usually).

You would think that with two people left they might consider an actual debate between the candidates. Throw out an issue, and let them debate each other in a standard format. These “gotcha” press events don’t inform the public about anything, except how puerile the American media has become.
