Changes
Unlike Jill at Cookies in Heaven, Mustang Bobby at Bark Bark Woof Woof, and Keith at Invisible Library, I’m not re-doing the whole place, but I’ve made a couple of recent changes.
Having noticed this nice use of the feed widget by News Writer at Stop The Press!, I’ve added the BBC history feed on the sidebar.
After encountering it at Making Conservatives Cringe I’ve added the Commentluv plugin to comments. If you have a blog it will read your feed and provide a link to your last post. For some reason if you preview first, the link goes away, but what would computers be without “anomalies” [a lot less aggravating, for one thing].

Nice set of improvements!
Have to agree. 🙂 The old place is sprucing up nicely Bryan! 😀
(And PS… I know it’s a PITA!) LOL
If you want a few more toys to play with Bryan, I came across thiss looking for some decent Admin tools for my new WP setup. 😉 It’s a bit dated now, still… could be useful. 😀

I like to be able to move around in the dark without bumping into furniture. I had a housemate once who would move things around every time I went on an extended TDY. It was a painful experience coming back after a 40 hour flight and not being able to walk with confidence around your own quarters.
Change the pictures and add a few conveniences, but let’s not get carried away.
I am really enjoying the “last post” thingy and the new photos…although the welfare line is a little bit too close to reality these days.
cookie jill´s last blog post..Crops absorb livestock antibiotics
Thanks for the shout out. I waited so long for the template I use now to become public, got it, made all these changes, fielded it, now I don’t like it. Now I’m waiting for Futurosity Aeterno to come out. It’s rough not feeling comfortable in your (blogs) skin. Some times the smaller changes are better.
Frederick´s last blog post..Panetta
I wish I had more in the way of graphic competence, because I need a between holidays header for the holidays slot.
I’m hoping that people start looking at new sites, because there is a lot of good work out there, and the way I work, in fits and starts throughout the days, I can’t always remember to grab the posts I liked.
You have a more graphic approach than I do, Frederick. I went through a dozen templates on my test site before I decided to modify this one and use it. I have to deal with the reality of bifocals, so a serif typeface is much better for me.
oooooh! i like!
the current flowing through the channel at ft pickens is pretty strong, and the bottom drops of pretty steeply [for sand] so you can’t very far out from shore before you’re neck-deep in an untenable situation, but… early one morning, just about sunrise, a bunch of dolphins were playing in the standing wave there at the pass. i waded out as far as i could without getting swept out into the gulf, and got within a couple of feet of them. i kept hoping they’d swim just a little closer but they never did.
i never figured out f they were daring me to join them, or if they were laughing at me because they could tell i wasn’t going to try it.
hipparchia´s last blog post..I don’t get out much…
They chased mullet around in the bayou when I was growing up down here, and if you stood on the end of the diving board and held out a fish they would take it, although they usually also knocked you off the diving board.
They didn’t touch us when we were in the water, but they didn’t avoid us either. They were just part of the environment.
