]]>It’s been many years since I’ve been to DC, but I don’t remember Metro putting on “extra trains” for much of anything. And the system worked well enough for me, all except for the time I tried to go to a church in a dirt-poor neighborhood where a friend and I were to provide the music one Sunday… it didn’t go within miles of there.
Kevin seems to have forgotten: DC isn’t Houston, which has only one line; in Washington, there’s some actual scheduling to be done if you want to add trains.
