Tropical Storm KarlPosition: 18.6N 85.5W [10 PM CDT 0300 UTC].
Movement: West-Northwest [290°] near 15 mph [24 kph].
Maximum sustained winds: 45 mph [ 75 kph].
Wind Gusts: 55 mph [ 90 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 30 miles [ 45 km].
Minimum central pressure: 999 mb.

Currently about 185 miles [295 km] East of Chetumal, Mexico.

This was Invest 92 that has been around for days spreading rain in the Caribbean never quite reaching tropical status. It finally decided to grow up.

At its current speed it should come ashore in the center of the Warning area in 12 hours or less.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the East Coast of the Yucatan Peninsula from Chetumal at the Mexico-Belize border northward to Cabo Catoche.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the coast of northern Belize from Belize City to the Mexico-Belize border.
