To Mustang Bobby
Since I don’t dare attempt your comments again –
JS-Kit went nuts when I published the comment this morning. I had to hit the red X to break out of some sort of loop. It seems to have decided to reprint that comment forever, and it clearly wasn’t that memorable.
So, now I will add Echo/JS-Kit to the growing list of commenting systems that hate me. Usually they simply don’t allow me to comment or ignore my comments, so this reaction is a bit different.

Join the club, Bry, JS-Kit hates me, too….
Ah, glad you are here, Moi. According to the rules used by you “friend” from Delaware, Ms O’Donnell, you can include all of the colleges and universities you have visited with Bug on your resume, as she did on hers. ‘Noz at Rubber Hose has the details.
We are cursed by having our own, independent web sites, Moi, instead of belonging to one of the collectives.
JS-Kit has done the same thing to me, three times if I remember correctly. In every case, the comment was on the long side and took me a long time to compose. In every case, I had to shut down the browser the hard way. In every case, the comment was posted multiple times. In two of the three cases, the runaway loop happened on Mustang Bobby’s site; these days, I keep my comments short on his site.
JS-Kit has never worked properly, and it still doesn’t. I hated switching blogging platforms just to be rid of JS-Kit, but it has most certainly been worth the trouble.
It was a one-liner warning about what is now TS Nicole.
My modem went crazy and I was ready to shut it off of the “Stop” didn’t work. I don’t ever have problems at OWL’s place, but BBWW has done strange things every time I attempt to comment. I wonder if Bobby has a more advanced version?
haloscan hated me even before js-kit took it over, so i figured it couldn’t get eny worse when it became echo… but i was wrong. i do still lurk at bbww, but i haven’t commented there in ages.
You’ve been doing a lot of lurking lately. and not much talking. I was hoping it was because of a new job, but that isn’t very likely around here.
It’s good to hear from you. The feral cat network isn’t very reliable for finding anything out. They find out, but don’t ever get back to you.
ferals are pretty darn secretive. and they’re always smiling that infuriating little i’ve got a secret and you don’t know what it is smile too.
we’re all doing ok here, but i’m still mostly going to be in lurk mode for a while longer, as the new job ends shortly and, like everybody else in this so-called economy, i haven’t found a replacement for it yet.
just out of curiosity, i looked up jobs in my field in NYC recently — and found, in a city of what? 8 million people? all of 7 listings, 4 of which were really only tangentially related and which i probably wouldn’t qualify for. yay, i’m one in a million!
Lots of jobs in my field unless you have experience.
It’s really annoying to hear the politicians talking about re-training after you have heard that you are over-qualified every time you talk to someone in HR.
