"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

That kitty looks remarkably not pissed off.
“Hey, kud be wurse. Kud be making me wear silly hat.”
Well. it is better than “THAT” trip to the vet.
Okay, so The Mighty Fang is a mighty placid kitteh, I mean, I can even walk him a little on a leash and harness (or rather, given that you don’t tell an 18 pound kitteh where he can go, he walks me, but not far :)), but I’m having trouble seeing him being that placid if I tried that with him…
You have to start when they are kittens, and it helps if their are children in the family. The only cats I have ever known that would put up with this sort of thing were raised in those conditions.
None of my cats has ever liked being on their backs, exposing their stomachs. That would be an invitation to attack around here.
