A Blogger’s Blogger

Susie Madrak woke up early this morning to the symptoms of a heart attack. Immediately after calling 911 she wrote a blog entry.

According to a later posting by Chris Baldwin, she is being kept for observation, but hospitals don’t release any real information.

Update: Susie is home, but has to prepare for Irene, so she won’t comment until later.

Good grief!

Thanks for telling us.

She had things scheduled that appeared afterwards, and it rolled off the front page. I’m sure that some people thought she was kidding, but it doesn’t get much more serious than a heart attack.

I hope she’s OK! I used to guest blog over there years ago when I was at LM. 🙁

OT: Just one last post before I pull the plug on my system! 😉 😀

From Chris Bearde’s Blog:

“WE ARE ALL SPARTACUS!”

Enjoy! 🙂 (A pity I won’t be around to read any comments.) *shrug* 😉

Well, at least you aren’t trying to move in a typhoon, Kryten, like a lot of people on the Atlantic coast of the US. It’s the last weekend of the month, so there will be a lot of people with all their stuff in hired lorries for the approach of Irene. As you know from personal experience, they should just leave it on the truck until they find out if the new place is still livable.

Actually it was a very good move, Jams. It was the easiest way of telling a lot of friends and family what was going on without having to make multiple phone calls.

Nothing new on her condition since yesterday.

It sounds like electrolytes, which is consistent with the hot, humid weather they have been having.

I hate emergency rooms, even when I know the people, as I did when I was in law enforcement. They are almost as bad as daycare centers as pools of pestilence, but that’s where the medical non-system sends you if you happen to be ill at an inconvenient time for your doctor [if you are fortunate to have a doctor].
