A very sensible cat!
He is getting old enough to be expected to participate in the battles of Toms, and is subject to attack, especially by the more senior cats.
All of the younger Toms are acting like long-tailed cats in a rocking chair factory.

The grays are really able to blend. You play hell seeing them at night, and as most prey are color-blind, they can disappear during the day.
Lucrezia really fades next to a live oak if she freezes.
That is a cute cute cute picture. Toes seems to have gotten a good tan. He was the white cat, right? Hee hee.
They probably have ‘photogray’ fur that darkens in the sun 😉
