Aww… that is a charming shot.
… Do ANY of these damned feral cats allow pats? I think I’d go bonkers chasing them about trying to make contact….
You could pat them if you didn’t mind being turned into a scratching post after you cornered them. Some of them will rub against your legs while they are being fed, but evaporate if you bend down.
Ellroon, ferals who are pattable generally cease to be ferals after a while, having adopted some family or another (like our friend Froggy), so pretty much by definition true ferals you encounter in the wild (so to speak), as vs. homed cats that happen to roam, aren’t pattable.
What a delightful picture. Lutu has an interesting sleeping style. They sure look happy.
I think it was because it was a little chilly, OWL, and she decided to let Mini-Sox provide some heat, but I have seen her ‘put her arm around him’ when they were sitting up.
