This is sort of personal for me. Having my old ‘firm’ doing this kind of blatantly illegal crap really burns. It was a major hassle if you accidentally monitored US communications, so there was absolutely no way you would intentionally do it without expecting to be charged. The Posse Comitatus Act and Fourth Amendment were both covered in briefings and in the training.

Still, that was then, and we did our job, and we can be proud of what we achieved *legally*! These bums today are pathetic moronic losers. Unfortunately, by the time the general populace realizes… It will probably be too late. And with luck… you and I will have *passed on* and not be around to see how this *Wonderful new World* comes crashing down on everyone. History is just a word in a Library to these morons.

If they don’t alter the current course, it is going to be guillotine time in the US. Badtux keeping preaching it, but the people in power aren’t listening. The people at the bottom are running out of options, and now they are spying on everyone else.
The extreme right have been hoarding arms for years, and revelations like this certainly do nothing to calm their fears, but stoke them instead. They aren’t going to believe that Obama is using this system for national security, any more that I do.
