"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. “… she evaporates when she sees me.”
Patience. Lily was like that toward me for a couple of years. Now she can’t get enough of my attention, even when she’s not looking for food. Maybe she feels more secure… damn, as massive as she is, she ought to feel secure! I’d take a pic of Lily, but it wouldn’t convey her sheer bulk.
Cats be cats. *shrug* What are you gonna do?
I like her well enough, but it is rather tricky to get down a couple of steep concrete steps with cat doing a figure-8 around your feet. Even accidentally stepping on a paw once or twice hasn’t convinced her to wait until I’m on solid ground before she starts the ‘rubathon’.
Like you say, PJ, no one can figure out cats – even other cats, or Excise wouldn’t have encountered a face full of claws from his sister so often.
Yeah… cat’s. *shrug* 😀
You just need some contrast Steve. Like this one:
I’d hate to see the food & vet bill for that! Some people…
That’s about right, show us a bear skin rug, still stuffed, and call it a cat. *smiles*
That’s obscene. There can’t be any vet bills – a vet would have a fit when the cat came in.
