"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."
"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

The kitten has to watch you, you are a suspicious character who might do something weird or threatening at any moment…
We walk a loop through our neighborhood and the dogs being walked by their owners often look at us the same way. The dog will pause, look at us, look at the owner, look at us, walk a bit. If the owner looks at us, the dog is reassured. If not, the dog will rinse and repeat, getting more excited as we get nearer and the owner hasn’t seen us. We are definitely suspicious characters who might do something weird or threatening at any moment…
If you look at the kitten’s eyes a couple of things are apparent: she [I’m guessing] is developing well because she can focus at a distance, and the pupils indicate she is not upset. If I really was perceived as a threat the pupils would be large to take in as much light as possible for a fight/flight response. I may be annoying, but I’m not actually perceived as a threat.
I think she’s just curious. 🙂 Most kitties are when they are young. 🙂 Good photo BTW! I’m gonna pin this one on my Pinterest! 😛 LOL
I was lucky to get anything as they are predicting scattered thunderstorms for the next week, and the cats have been in hiding. There was a break in the clouds this afternoon, so I grabbed the camera.
Every so often the camera and I agree on what should be in the picture. It seems to wook better when it’s given a face on shot.
Yeah, luck has a lot to do with it when trying to take a pic of ferrals, and good timing! 😀
Well, it seems your pic has a couple *like*’s and has been re-pinned already! LOL That didn’t take long. 🙂 You might bet some new visitors m8. At least, on Friday’s! 😉 😀
Curiously, within a few weeks of my starting my Pinterest boards, I noticed 4 or 5 of my new followes were from Florida! It amused me… I have also attracted a few from Texas, and for some really weird reason, several teen girls from *Southern* type States who apparently love God/Jesus/Bible (when I check out their boards), even though I have made it quite clear on my boards what I think about all that! People are very strange! I admit to being somewhat curious however. 😀 One thing is that several claim to be INTJ types like myself and many others, so I am sure the whole religious thing is simply family/peer pressure and will be a passing phase. One cannot be an INTJ without being rational & intelligent (though, some have been known to be genius psychopaths)! INTJ’s tend to excel at whatever they do, even insanity! 😉 😆
All are welcome, and I may start including some ‘Trap, Neuter, Release’ propaganda on the posts.
I don’t understand why people feel the need to broadcast their religiosity. People who are aggressively religious have a tendency to be attempting to convince themselves that they have chosen the ‘one true faith’.
she looks a bit like my lucrezia Borgia kitty…
She does have the Lucrezia color and markings, now that you mention it. My neighbor calls her Hadley for some strange reason.
Hadley? well, they too started out small… http://www.hadleyadvantage.com/about-us/the-hadley-story
Well, the neighbor was once a long-haul trucker, so that may be where the name came from…
