Another Miserable Day
It started off with a check that can not be negotiated in its current form, followed by another government agency that I am going to have to waste time and money notifying that my Mother is still dead, and ended with an attack of stupidity that has my keys locked in my Mother’s house.
When viewed in the context of a heat index approaching 110° and visible pollen in the air, there are days that you just want to eliminate from the calendar, and this was one of them.
Tomorrow now involves breaking in to my Mother’s house because one of the things I had on the schedule for tomorrow was getting spare keys for the house, a chore I have put off a couple of times already. It’s my own fault, and that is the most annoying part of the whole day.

Yeah, i understand how you feel. Another thing we have in common it seams… I too am my own worst enemy at times! (Done the whole locked key’s inside thing too often!) While you are roasting… we are freezing! I actually had to have the heater running since about 1AM as my normally worm bed, wasn’t! I looked out just after 7AM to see what kind of day it would be… and the fog was so thick, I couldn’t see more than a couple meters! I wanted to crawl back into bed, but I have stuff to do that won’t wait (not looking forward to my Pharmacy run in 15 min’s. Currently 43F here!) Life sux some days. *shrug*
Never mind, maybe tomorrow will be better. 🙂 We can but hope… right? LOL
Well, I had a lucky break and figured out a quicker way of getting in that involved doing something that can be reversed quickly, but requires tools that most people just don’t have, and can’t be rented.
After I broke in and searched I discovered I had dropped the keys outside in the bushes by the front door, but there was no hope of seeing them in anything but early morning light.
I now have a second set in a second location, so that won’t happen again anytime soon.
It looks like there will be a strong El Niño by my Fall [your Spring] so the weather will not be overly predictable. You are getting a cold start to long Winter. Stay warm.
