Post-Tropical Cyclone Cristobal – Day 7
Position: 45.5N 47.1W [10AM CDT 1500 UTC].
Movement: Northeast [055°] near 44 mph [70 kph].
Maximum sustained winds: 75 mph [120 kph].
Wind Gusts: 90 mph [145 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 310 miles [405 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 115 miles [185 km].
Minimum central pressure: 980mb ↓.
Currently about 300 miles [ 480 km] East-Southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland.
At 10AM CDT the NHC reports that the storm has lost its tropical characteristics and transitioned to a large and dangerous post-tropical cyclone. There will be no further advisories from the NHC.
