News Drought Continues
The BBC had a short video, Royals commemorate Remembrance Sunday, that was of interest to me basically because Queen Elizabeth seems to have much better balance than either her husband or eldest son. If you watch the three mount the steps, and back off, the Queen is confident in backing, but both Phillip and Charles are unsure of where they are when moving backwards.
That was for me the most interesting thing on the news sites.

Watched the video just to see the Queen back up without looking. As I remember the King can only move one step at a time, but the Queen owns the board….
She is 88 and still maintains a schedule of public appearances. Her ability to carry a purse on her arm still amazes me. I’m 20 years younger and doubt I could maintain that right angle as well as she does. Very good genes from her mother’s side, while Phillip and Charles both have favored the Saxe-Coburg side from Victoria/Albert.
I’m reminded of a comment about Ginger Rogers and dancing – she performed the same steps as Fred Astaire only backwards on high heels.
As an aside – Charles needs a new hat or better care for the one he has because it was a bit dodgy and not up to inspection standards like his father’s, nor was his salute.
