"It's better to be six feet apart right now than six feet under."
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
"Blognito ergo sum!"
"Caedite eos! Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius."
"Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen."
"Все счастливые семьи похожи друг на друга, каждая несчастливая семья несчастлива по-своему."
"Кто что ни говори, а подобные происшествия бывают на свете, - редко, но бывают."
"A person who has a cat by the tail knows a whole lot more about cats than someone who has just read about them."
Mark Twain
"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."
"The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it."

Ohhhh, yes. 😀 No Xmas would be complete without that photo m8. 😀 I’ve be certainly come to expect it.
I’ve always (always as in since you started posting that pic) wondered though Bryan…
Did the cat’s take after the master, or vice versa? 😉 Perhaps a case of kindred spirits. That would be so in my case. 😀
I am relaxing after my guests have left. And my day of cleaning, preparing a continental style meal of cheeses, dips, meats, seafood, breads & crackers; and a big fruit salad that’s rather more like punch with lot’s of fruit in it. Most of the fruit was grown organically locally. Very flavourful. 🙂
I am as full as the proverbial boot! 😀
For decades in the military and law enforcement I worked the holidays more often than not, and was often not able to receive parcels, so I kind of got out of the habit. After I moved back to Florida I spent a lot of time putting up decorations for my Mother, because she was partial to the holiday. She is the reason for the cat crèche.
This year the woman who cleans the house found the small tree that Mother used after she tired of climbing ladders to decorate. and set it up, so I found a few other things and put them up, because it made her happy.
Friends and food are the heart of the celebration.
