Maximum sustained winds: 70 mph [110 kph].

Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 485 miles [780 km].
Minimum central pressure: 986 mb.

Currently about 290 miles [ 470 km] North of Terceira in the Azores.

Alex has transitioned to a post-tropical cyclone and this is the NHC’s final advisory.
