Circular Firing Squad

Proving that he can bring out the worst in everyone, National Review magazine, founded by William F. Buckley, devoted an entire issue to dissing Donald Trump. They seem to believe that if Trump is the nominee of the Republican Party, the party will will lose the Presidency again, and disintegrate. The Republican National Committee removed the National Review as a sponsor for the next debate because of this.

This isn’t really a primary campaign; it has become a wake for the GOP.

A wake? It’s been decades, maybe a century and a half, since the GOP has been awake!

Just because Tricky Dick was a raving left-wing activist compared to anyone calling themselves a Republican today, you have to admit that the current Republican primary is comedy gold, is a dark, disturbing way … 😈

I am frankly astounded by some of the names on that cover. Glenn Beck? Erick “Red State” Erickson? William Kristol? We aren’t exactly talking old school Republicans here, we’re talking about two populists and a neocon. And then there are the people who really *are* old school Republicans like L. Brent Bozell III (William F. Buckley’s nephew) and Edwin Meese III. Seems like the Republican Party right now is united by one and only one thing: They hates them some Donald Trump. Heh.

They withdrew the sponsorship of the magazine for the debate, and Trump refused to go because Megyn Kelly was going to be a moderator and she was mean to him at the last Fox debate, she asked him real questions instead of feeding him talking points.

It is hard to run for office when you are a ‘diva’ 😈
