Face Offs

This BBC headline caught my eye: “Trump v. Clinton – Who Would Unify US?”

Of course the answer is “None of the above”.

Current flag New flag

It is the final act in New Zealand Prime Minister John Key’s effort to waste $18 million on something few except Mr Key are at all interested in: voting to change the current flag on the left with the new flag on the right. Currently about two-thirds of those polled said “NO!”

“Trump v. Clinton – Who Would Unify US?”. Trump would. Everyone will hate a Trump presidency

Only about two-thirds of the people would hate a Trump Presidency. There would still be that third “that you can fool all of the time…”

I am so glad to see you are for the Bern. No, not working for Hillary this go-round. I actually have wanted to rant a few times, but then I forget. lol What can I say?

Bernie is a real liberal Democrat. Hillary wants to triangulate with people whose only compromise is for you to do things their way. Obama wasted most of his two term trying to ‘play nice’ with people who hated his guts, and his skin color.

Bernie is by no means perfect, but he hasn’t cut any deals with the gamblers on Wall Street. We should have seized the banks and jailed the bankers, like Iceland did, not bail them out while homeowners were left to drown. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie understand how badly the lower 99% have been hurt by the 1% getting all of the benefits. They say that “A rising tide raises all boats”, but that is not good news if you don’t own a boat and can’t swim which is about 99% of us in this economy.
