Not Much Happening
More rain down here, but the nasty stuff is about 100 miles inland along the northern Gulf Coast.
The Belgians are leaning towards the possibility that the real target of the Brussels attacks was the Prime Minister. The majority of the people involved in the Paris & Brussels attacks seem to have met at school and/or prison. The Belgian authorities have decided to extradite Salah Abdeslam to France and concentrate on the other members of the Brussels gang.
As I continue to use it, I get more and more annoyed with Windows 10. It has all of the disadvantages of IOS, and none of the features. They have even managed to screw up Solitaire …

And in other news, Reddit’s warrant canary has shuffled off this mortal coil, deceased, bereft of life, gone to meet its maker, dead. Apparently the NSA needed 1,000,000 pictures of somebody’s a-hole. Or something. I can’t imagine that there’s any terrorist activity on Reddit, the platform is way too open to keep something like that secret. But today’s NSA seems to be all about hoover up everything even the garbage and maybe there’s some pearls hidden in it if we run this massive parallel algorithm across thousands of computers and … hah! Yeah, like that’s going to happen. What’s gonna happen is that 1,000,000 pictures of somebody’s ahole is going to trigger a terror alert, taking some analyst off of real work to realize that no, that’s not a photo of a missile site, that’s a photo of someone’s ahole…
Of course you can conceal messages in graphics files as can a number of people who stop by here, if they choose, but I haven’t seen a lot of technical competence among the terrorists of today.
They need more people looking for the needle, and they keep bringing in more hay.
