Movement: East-Northeast [070°] near 14 mph [22 kph].
Maximum sustained winds: 75 mph [120 kph].
Wind Gusts: 110 mph [175 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 185 miles [295 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 70 miles [110 km].
Minimum central pressure: 982 mb ↑.

Currently about 35 miles [ 55 km] South of Cape Lookout, North Carolina.

Because of the mountains in the Carolinas the storm is producing torrential rains that are sure to produce massive flooding.

At 10AM CDT the storm made landfall at McClellanville, South Carolina. At Myrtle Beach at 1PM CDT.

A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Little River Inlet to Surf City, North Carolina.

A Hurricane Watch is in effect from Surf City to Duck, North Carolina including Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Surf City to Duck, North Carolina including Pamlico and Albemarle Sounds.
