He may think that $150K is negligible, but that drone has data on conditions in the South China Sea which could go ballistic at any time. If you want to slip in a sub unnoticed or are looking for subs, the data on that drone is important. If he attended a few intelligence briefings, he might understand what is happening.

Which of course is why China stole it. 🙂 I doubt they will return it, at least until the data has been accidentally corrupted. Oops! Shit happens. 😉 😀
They grabbed it just to find out what we know. It’s a commercial drone, not military. The same drone is used in the Gulf by university researchers, especially following the BP oil spill.
You need the Chrome extension that turns all the photos of the Orange Head into kittens. Best invention ever.
