Well, at least it’s slowly moving away from Houston, it’s been sitting over Houston pounding it with rain for days now!
Of course, as it spins apart bands of rain are streaming ashore everywhere to the east of it. Looks like you’re about to get some of that….
Well Hell. Two tries at commenting from an iPhone and both went awry.
The outer band is currently dumping rain on me, Badtux, but only in inches, not feet.
I’m amzaed you can still get a cell signal, Steve. I would have expected cell towers to be down from power outages.
I don’t know if it matters, but I’m using a Verizon JetPack as a WiFi interface. I think that uses Verizon’s own wireless network rather than the doubtless overloaded cell towers.
That would definitely make a difference as it takes place on different frequencies from the standard cell signals.
I lost another long comment. I’m beginning to think comments and smartphones don’t mix very well.
I have the same luck with my iPhone and just messages unless I use my Bluetooth keyboard.
