Things Just Got Serious

A grand jury in Washington, DC, has issued a sealed indictment in the Mueller investigation according to a CNN report.

Sources have indicated that the first arrest or arrests could occur as soon as Monday. Anyone who feels guilty should enjoy their last weekend of freedom, lawyer up, and make friends with a bail bonds company.

Saw & Tweeted about that! 👍🏾💥

Definitely should have bought shares in Popcorn companies! Damn! 🍿🍿 😏🤭

I would guess that is was probably a defense leak, as Mueller doesn’t like leaks. If the ‘target’ surrenders, it means they were told on Friday. There is no reason for Muller to leak this on Friday.

Tomorrow we find out. I hope it’s more than one.

4 Bryan { 10.29.17 at 8:31 pm }

It may be someone we have never heard of before. In white collar cases they start with the ‘little fish’ and work their way up to the ‘big fish’. I would think that they will go after Flynn and Manafort for their financial crimes and use that for leverage to gather more information against others. I expect tax and/or money laundering because these guys are associated with some really shady dealing. The Russian part of the story is a conspiracy and those cases take a long time to investigate.

5 Badtux { 10.29.17 at 9:42 pm }

Almost certainly Manafort for money he accepted from the Russians for lobbying efforts for Russia but did not declare under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. But we’ll see.

6 Bryan { 10.29.17 at 10:09 pm }

Both of them took money for lobbying for foreign governments and did not register. Compared to the members of the Cabinet from Goldman Sachs the amounts were chump change, but they aren’t corporations… 😈

I am PMSL after Dotard45 started a (short) Twitter war with Michael Moore! Which Dotard lost spectacularly!

Donald Trump in Twitter spat with Michael Moore

A more detailed report via Alternet:
Michael Moore vs Trump on Twitter Finally Happened

Dotard picked a fight withe the wrong guy! 😆 😆

8 Bryan { 10.30.17 at 10:42 am }

Michael Moore doesn’t back down and doesn’t scare. Trump should stop trying to intimidate people who aren’t in politics – they generally have a superior command of English and don’t have any respect for anyone so incompetent as to lose money owning a casino..

9 Anya { 10.30.17 at 3:35 pm }

Manafort for the win! I haven’t been this excited in years!

So George Papodopoulos pled guilty to lying to the FBI in exchange for a short term in the Martha Stewart Memorial Suite at the Graybar Hotel and testifying for the FBI on other issues. Paul Manafort and Rick Gates got the book thrown at them — money laundering, multiple FARA violations, conspiracy against America, lying to the FBI, *AND* Mueller is asking for asset forfeiture. This is going to be fun to watch. Who’s going to crack first and implicate Trump family members and current Trump cabinet members? Time to pop some more popcorn!

12 Bryan { 10.30.17 at 8:01 pm }

Papadopoulos is the keystone so far. Anyone he talked to, emailed, texted, etc. should assume that the communications were “monitored for quality control” 😈 Georgie is the flashing sign to collusion with the Russians because he was recruited by Russian intel.

Manafort and Gates are facing assets forfeiture and could be in real trouble if Mueller wants to demand bail, because it is SOP to demand proof that money used for bail is not “ill-gotten gains.” Oh, yeah, Mueller can makes their lives a living hell. A ‘travelog’ of the Federal prison in Atlanta should enlighten them.Most of the financial crimes in the indictments can be filed in New York state courts if Trump decided to pardon them.

Tomorrow or Wednesday SCROTUS will start yelling on Twitter. That’s the sort of thing that got Papadopoulos in trouble, talking when he should have shut up and let his lawyers deal with it.

13 Kryten42 { 10.30.17 at 8:17 pm }

Chris Mathews has obviously had enough of the RWNJ’s! 😆

Chris Matthews Shuts Down Trump Defender For Spewing Lies About Clinton-Uranian One Nonscandal

(Title as published. They either have no decent editors or were over excited! Uranium, of course.)

WH is in chaos & panic as Dotard 45 has a meltdown! Apparently, Papadopolous has been wearing a wire for Mueller.

Trump Freaks Out In The White House As The Russia Investigation Walls Are Closing In On Him

Damn! Really should have got the popcorn co’y shares when they were cheap! 😉 😆

14 Bryan { 10.30.17 at 9:17 pm }

The only thing anyone needs to know about the Uranium One holdings in the US is that they are too expensive to mine at today’s prices. That was true when the Russians bought the shares that the Canadians wanted to sell, and the reason the Canadians wanted to sell – uranium mining was no longer profitable.

No one is buying the Uranium One foolishness except diehard Trump MAGAts, and their numbers are declining.

Trump is going to dig the hole he is in deeper if he doesn’t stay off Twitter and start listening to his lawyers.

15 Kryten42 { 10.31.17 at 1:55 am }

Apparently, a lot of Lawyers are in Muellers cross-hairs. I don’t think there will be enough defense lawyers for all the lawyers, politicians & accessories! At least, any stupid enough to take the job’s! 😆 😆

16 Bryan { 10.31.17 at 10:11 am }

We have an excess of people with law degrees in the US, it is time to ‘cull the pack’. Most US lawyers would be considered ‘solicitors”, pushing papers in civil matters. Trial lawyers [barristers] are a smaller subset of the legal community. Most trial lawyers manage to stay out of jail, unlike their corporate cousins. A bit of Darwinism will improve the breed. It might make them more honest, but will more likely make them smarter about their decisions.

17 Kryten42 { 10.31.17 at 1:13 pm }

Pretty much all politicians have a law degree! And are as dumb as fleas & have the same morals!

As I discovered when I had to sit a law exam for my National security license years ago (much harder to get & more expensive than a State license). I had the flu (I was @ the end of it actually, still felt like crap & on antihistamines etc), I passed with 98%! Only because when I got to the last two questions (worth 1 point each) the antihistamines kicked in & i just wanted to sleep. So I wrote “I have no idea!”

Obviously… it’s a very low bar! 😆 😆 😆

Lawyer humor. 😉 😀

18 Bryan { 10.31.17 at 2:46 pm }

Come on, fleas are selective about who they bite 👿

I was never impressed with almost all of the lawyers I dealt with. Half the time I had to walk them through the process so they didn’t screw up my arrests.

19 Kryten42 { 11.01.17 at 4:50 am }

I’ve been reading, with some *insider* interest, an article by Ray McGovern on the CIA/FBI delaying release of all JFK documents. And why Trump is acquiescing (because he eventually got the message not to f*ck with them & is an abject coward).

The Deep State’s JFK Triumph over Trump

Here, this may make your day m8! It made my morning anyway. 😉 😆

“You Can’t Go Any Lower”: Inside The West Wing, Trump Is Apoplectic As Allies Fear Impeachment

“Here’s what Manafort’s indictment tells me: Mueller is going to go over every financial dealing of Jared Kushner and the Trump Organization,” said former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg. “Trump is at 33 percent in Gallup. You can’t go any lower. He’s fucked.”

21 Bryan { 11.01.17 at 8:37 pm }

This goes back to the era of the Dulles brothers, John Foster at the State Department and Allen at the CIA, who were responsible for most of the people who currently hate the US. The blow-back from their actions and policies are still haunting us. The CIA and FBI don’t want everything that Allen Dulles and J. Edgar Hoover got up to to come out. People ‘just wouldn’t understand…’ The other problem is that if they declassify all of this stuff, people who have been squirreling away stuff that the bosses thought was destroyed, will publish.

Very embarrassing, so it can’t possibly be allowed to see the light of day as far as the keepers of the institutional lies are concerned. People would get upset if they found out they have been lied to repeatedly. Budgets might be cut.

22 Badtux { 11.02.17 at 11:44 am }

Thing is that most of what Dulles and Hoover were up to is already common knowledge. Sure, it’s classified in the United States, but it’s like Richard Nixon’s “secret” bombing of Cambodia — the Cambodians knew damn well it wasn’t Martians carpet-bombing them with B-52’s. The only purpose of keeping this crap secret is to shut up the U.S. press, since without confirmation from the CIA or FBI, it stays in the “unsubstantiated rumor” class as far as the U.S. press is concerned. I.e., it’s all about making sure the good Sovoks of the United States get their proper daily indoctrination from our equivalents of Pravda and Tass.

23 Bryan { 11.02.17 at 3:25 pm }

Yes, and it also acts as threat to those who have stories to tell, but don’t want to go to prison for telling them.

Some days when I was reading classified status reports I got the feeling that the only people who didn’t know most of what I was reading were the American people.

24 Kryten42 { 11.03.17 at 1:03 am }

Well, you know how I feel about the CIA. But then, i know a lot more than most. *shrug*

Here, for another laugh! 😆

Twitter Employee Deactivated Trump’s Account on Last Day at Work

What a damned shame it was only 11 minutes! And that the account wasn’t actually deleted (loosing all 45’s inane tweets!)

Still… Anything that pisses 45 off is always a good thing! 😆

25 Bryan { 11.03.17 at 11:10 am }

The Twit’s Twitter account is a repository of official government records and cannot legally be destroyed. Besides, if he was shut down by Twitter he would probably just go to V Kontakte for his rants. His BFF Volodya would set up the account for him 😈

26 Kryten42 { 11.03.17 at 12:25 pm }

😆 See, i knew you’d get a laugh out of that!

Encore: Looks like Kelly is toast. He managed to piss off both sides! That’s one up (or should that be down?) on 45. Impressive!

People Are Done With John Kelly After His ‘Absurd’ Civil War Comments

27 Bryan { 11.03.17 at 5:16 pm }

Kelly isn’t going anywhere. He works for a racist and no one else can fire him. He won’t apologize to Congresswoman Wilson for two reasons: she’s Black and a woman. She didn’t “know her place” and no one in “the big house” is required to take notice of “lesser creatures”. I hope the White House staff are keeping him away from the linen closet as those sheets are government property. 😈

Actually I know he isn’t a Klansman – the Klan hates Catholics too.

28 Kryten42 { 11.04.17 at 2:37 am }

Sadly, yes… I know. *shrug*

This is the best article so far from The Gardian (of course) regarding the temporary suspension of 45’s T account. 😆 😆 😆

‘You’re hired!’: Internet salutes Twitter employee who pulled plug on Trump

The person just made more friends in 11 minutes than the entire Trump family has their entire lives. Including US RWNJ’s & Russians (because as we know of course, Russians are NOT friends with the Trumps! And anyone who thinks so, really doesn’t understand Putin, Russian Billionaires or crime syndicates! 😉 😆

29 Bryan { 11.04.17 at 12:48 pm }

The game Putin is playing is a continuation of what the KGB always did – cause trouble. They funnel money to any group that causes trouble for any presumed enemies of Russia/Soviet Union. No matter what the ideology of the group, if they cause trouble they will get Russian support, usually unbeknownst to anyone in the group.

There was just a couple of demonstrations in Texas by Texas separatists, and a Muslim group. Turns out the demonstrations were incited by two web sites, both actually owned by Russians in hopes of clashes between the two groups.

It is time for people to learn how to use Whois to determine who is pulling the strings.
