Trump signed the Tax Bill today. If he had stalled until after Congress adjourned for Christmas, He would have accidentally vetoed the bill. (See Article I, Section 7 of the US Constitution). Now that would have been a major hoot.

Apparently! And that means the Medicare cuts will be enacted in 2018 instead of 2019 as they were hoping! So that screws their 2018 elections. Just looking for a silver lining. 😉 😀

I managed to save $260 as my xmas gift to me! Need some clothes, which I’ll get on the Boxing Day sales. I spent about $70 on some games & s/w I wanted. Got a bunch of freebies this past week too from GOG, Humble, Ubisoft, Origin/EA & Steam. A few are decent, others are so-so. 😆 All that should keep me busy for some time I hope! My current favorite Game is “Grim Dawn”! Awesome Diablo-ish clone! Actually, better in some ways.
I was followed on Twitter by the 2 main cast members of the TV series “Lucifer” (they are members of “TheResistance” as am I. One sent me the Pilot… And I loved it! Full of irony & satire! So I d/l the 3 seasons from Amazon @ $24/season (not counted as part of my xmas money! It was an impulse spend! Doesn’t count!) 😉 😆

Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency was the job that Flynn was fired from by Obama. The DIA must have gone really weird because it is almost unheard of that three-star generals are forced out by the President. I wonder if the IG problem isn’t related to Flynn’s tenure. Having someone from HR become an IG is strange.
I’m working on that unit, but I don’t see it being ready by 1 January, which is OK because most people are too involved with the holidays to be looking for a new place. I’m not going to push it.
