Where’s Rod Serling?
For younger people, Rod Serling was the host, writer, creator of an early television anthology show called The Twilight Zone. The common thread for the individual episodes was that nothing was what you assumed it was.
The recent actions of Trumplethinskin™ trying to get the other members of the G7 to readmit Russia really does not fit the reality that his own Treasury Department was getting ready to hit five Russian firms with sanctions, citing cyberattacks.
Then he attacks Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, for disagreeing with the tariffs that Trump decided to impose on the other members of the G7. The NDP opposition party in the Canadian parliament introduced a motion and MPs united to condemn Trump’s tariffs and verbal attacks.
Of course the real reason that Trump flipped was the picture released by the German government showing Angela Merkel possibly telling Trump that he would only be permitted spoons and siipy cups at future G7 meetings, and the spoons would be rubber coated. He had to attack Trudeau, because he’s afraid of Merkel.

😂👍🏾Yep! That’s what I was thinking… Twilight Zone indeed! I’d read not long ago that CBS has ordered the third Twilight Zone series revival with Jordan Peele taking over the role of Rod Serling.
I do get the impression that Dotard is deathly afraid of Merkel. Probably the only time he shows any sense & self-preservation instincts!
I suspect that his whole agenda regarding NK is to get into the history books for finally ending the Korean War! He’d probably give away anything for that. It’s always about his ego. *shrug*
Trump would sign a peace treaty saying that Kim’s grandfather actually won the wore and South Korea is a province of the North to get a Nobel Prize. He would probably withdraw all US forces from the Pacific Command for Time’s Person of the Year cover.
His ability to make good deals ended 30 or 40 years ago, and he has been living on his early success since then. If the Democrats take back Congress they should subpoena his tax returns and publish them in the Congressional Record. I feel certain they will show he’s broke. With all of his bankruptcies, he doesn’t have a credit score and has no access to US financial institutions. I would guess that Putin probably controls all of his debt and that’s how he controls him. Sex is so last century.
MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace takes the prize IMNSHO for the reporting of this hysterical (oops, maybe I meant historical? Ehh, no.) meeting! She deserves a pay raise & many, many kudo’s! She’s certainly getting a lot of attention on Twitter. I am now a fan! 😊😏👍🏾

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow – Trump military exercise giveaway to N. Korea suits Putin’s goals
It has been determined that Putin actually suggested that Trump stop the joint exercises as a show of good faith for North Korea. Apparently Trump and Putin have frequent telephone conversations.
Nicolle Wallace was George W. Bush’s director of communications – she is a lapsed Republican, like many of the most vehement voices against Trump on MSNBC.
Canada, the US, and Mexico are hosting the 2026 World Cup. There are no guarantees that teams or fans will be allowed into the US unless Congress gets off the stick and fixes the immigration laws and the people who enforce them.
After looking at pictures from the G-7 I figured out why Trump attacked Trudeau – Trudeau is taller, stronger, better looking, better hair, and his wife is willing to stand beside him at public events. Trump is afraid of Merkel, May and every other strong woman.
Trumpism is spreading and poisoning politics.

The entire Nobel thing was cooked up by Repug Congresscritters because Obama got one for not being the Shrubbery or John McCain.The Nobel committee won’t give him anything while he is attacking Europe on non-existent trade problems. It would be a bit beyond the pale to give a peace prize to someone for not launching a war that he started to talk about.
Until and unless M$ hires some full-time programmers to work on their software, instead of contractors, their products are going to be crap. Fewer people with H-1B visas would probably help, and operating system design and support really are long-term projects.

I know more about DWS [Debbie Wasserman Schultz]. I have been exchanging e-mails with her since 2000 when she was in the Florida legislature. She used to be a decent human being and then she got elected to Congress, moved up the ranks of Congress, and lost her moral compass. She became the chair of the Democratic National Committee and played fast and lose with the rules to help Hillary Clinton. That she is taking corporate money is no surprise.
Essentially Canova is running as an independent because he can’t get around the gatekeepers in the Democratic Party. Most of what he says would be his policies seem reasonable and Bernie Sanders thinks he’s OK. He is a law professor, and it would be nice to have someone in the House of Representatives who actually knows something about our laws 😈

Eileen Higgins wins Miami-Dade commission seat in upset over Zoraida Barreiro
Ms Higgins ran as “La Gringa” as the district includes Little Havana – the Republican core of the Miami Cuban community. She is from Ohio, but speaks Spanish. The Cuban political machine took a hit that does not bode well for several Congressional districts. The human rights violations along the border don’t play well in South Florida and neither does the treatment of Puerto Rico.
