I have been fighting with the latest update of WordPress as they tried to change the way I work and that had to be corrected. You don’t mess with the editor.

On a sad note: Roger the ripped kangaroo dies aged 12. Roger was over 6-foot tall and near 200 pounds. Crushing metal buckets like they were paper cups was one of his tricks. He was the Schwarzenegger of roos.
Meanwhile Trump is having a bit of a problem finding a new chief of staff. His first choice, Nick Ayers, gave notice that he was leaving DC for Georgia at the end of the year. Trump has drawn up a list of candidates, but it is uncertain if anyone wants to work for him.
John Kelly Was a Bully, Bigot, and Liar for Trump. Goodbye and Good Riddance. Lawrence O’Donnell told us who John Kelly really is back in October of 2017 after the attack on Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson.

WP v5.0.1 has caused me headaches. I had to wait for updates to everything! Most were ready & happened the day it was launched. When I first launched my blog after the WP update, all I got was a “This site is temporarily closed due to maintenance…” I checked my WPMU DEV dashboard, which had a message: “Please move the blog-suspended.php file from… to…” Saved me hours of WTF?! headaches!
Read that about Voyager-2! When Humans used to be able to make things that worked.
Yeah… Roget was an icon! And loved showing off apparently. 12 years is a good run for a roo that big! Like dog’s, the bigger they are, the shorter their life-span (usually).

Yeah, I installed 5.0 and had to get updates for plug ins, then had to do it again for 5.0.1. It was a real PITA, and they altered the data base again.
No one wanted to be CoS because your private legal bills if you took the job would be twice or more of the salary. You would need a heavy-duty side gig to cover the costs.
Trump’s biggest problem is that Presidential pardons don’t cover all of the legal cases brought by the attorney generals of multiple states. The AG of New York could seize all of his assets in the state. Mar a Lago will be under water in ten years or so, if it doesn’t get swallowed by a sink hole before then. It isn’t just that he will be poor, everyone will know he’s poor.
After he loses everything, maybe Vlad will let rebrand a building on Lyubyanka Square in Moscow. 👿
Grrrrrrrr… yesterday, I finally finished a couple Months (on & off) work on my site theme/template and applied it to the Divi Builder that I’m using. It looked good and worked fast, though is still a “work in progress” (still trying to decide on a few things). Today… gone! Back to the basic standard Divi pages. No idea why, might have something to do with my using WP Multisite maybe. Had a few strange issues with plugins with it. All the ones from WPMU DEV are designed for it & no problems. Sent a “please explain” to Elegant Themes (creators of Divi). Their support is pretty good. *SIGH*
I did wonder at one stage of members of DT’s family would sue him. But even they probably realise all his *wealth* is on paper only & all they’d get is a mountain of debt! But then again, most seem at least as stupid as he is, so… who knows? *shrug*
The Trumps and Kushners are living on borrowed money. Everything they “own” is mortgaged to the hilt. That hotel in DC is leased from the government [it is the former headquarters of the US Postal Service] at an absurd rate. Trump gets into trouble by paying too much for properties while not paying the people who transform the properties into assets. He has unrealistic visions about the profit potential of his deals. If the state seizes the properties, he is still liable for the mortgages.
This version 5 may take a while to patch.

Did you see the news that Mattis is resigning? And his (temporary?) replacement will be… Patrick Shanahan, an ex Boeing executive with NO military experience and only 17 months @ the Pentagon! Unbelievable. I can’t imagine ANY Officer of any branch taking this seriously!
The bottom of that barrel has a huge hole in it and they are over a mile underground and getting deeper.
The Syrian withdrawal was the last straw for “Mad dog”. Trump wouldn’t listen to the explanation as to why the withdrawal was a terrible decision. He can’t find people to take jobs under his administration and his current Cabinet keeps resigning under criminal and ethical clouds to spend more times with their lawyers.
Oh, 5.0.2 arrived right after I finished cleaning up from the last one. 😡
