Happy Thanksgiving
If your celebration involved the death of a turkey, thank you.
I hope people restrained themselves and connected to their extended families via Zoom or FaceTime. There are three different COVID vaccines in the pipeline so we only have to wait a few more months to put Trump’s disastrous pandemic response in the rear view mirror and start getting back to normal.
As is traditional the WKRP Turkey Drop and/or the original recording of Alice’s Restaurant.

happy non-turkey day! i am continuing my now years-long habit of eating anything other than turkey.
it’s my no-doubt-in-vain hope that instead of the death of turkeys, we can have the death of turkey farms. global warming might maybe perhaps possibly help bring this about but i promise to not hold my breath.
the internets has eated my comment?
i guess it did. happy non-turkey day!
There was an error in your e-mail address and it went into the Moderation pile.
There is nothing that would make me happier than the demise of the farmed turkey. The white turkeys are mutants bred for white meat and evil stupidity. They are the precursors of Trump supporters. 😈
Oh, sorry, my Thanksgiving did include a smoked turkey breast which was purchased in 2019. I stayed home, and talked to my sisters over the phone.
My paternal grandfather raised turkeys and “working” on his farm was a good way learning to despise the evil creatures.
I connected with my family in New York and California electronically. I shut everyone else out and avoided offers of food. With just months to go before vaccines there’s no reason to take chances. Besides I like quiet.
