This year, Santa might want to stay home, due to Covid19. If I had a child at home, I might be tempted to tell said child to enjoy the socks, coat, and shirt, because Santa couldn’t get electronics, due to the virus.
That sounds like a reasonable plan to me. It makes more sense than being inebriated on a snow-covered roof at midnight to fake a sled and and reindeer for a three-year-old with skiis and poles .
