Mexico’s 2005
As Yucatan and the Bay of Campeche wait for another visit from a Category 5 storm, people died around Acapulco as a result of rains and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Henriette on the Pacific coast. Henriette is on track to become a hurricane before it hits Cabo San Lucas at the southern tip of Baja California Sur and then heading in to the Gulf of California.
2007 is not a good year for weather in Mexico.

Not a good year for wild fires in the United State of California, either.
Since you have me trained so well in thinking of you when I see planes, may I
present you linkage to the renovated DC10 fighting fires…this time not too
far away from Apple Computer headquarters in Cuptertino.

This is why the military converts them to KC-10, aerial re-fueling aircraft.
Too bad Henriette could bring some rain up your way. Y’all would appreciate it.
It’s hot. It’s muggy. We’re going through power outages. Thank goodness there’s an ocean nearby to flock to for the breezes (can’t go into the water anymore due to the bacteria counts…)
Rain. Good. Needed. Hold the lightning storms we had the other day (that set of more fires)
This too will pass, but waiting for the change isn’t easy.
