It’s Good For You
You already knew Chocolate ‘cuts blood clot risk’ and Chocolate ‘lowers’ blood pressure, so it’s not much surprise to learn that Chocolate ‘aids fatigue syndrome’: “A daily dose of dark chocolate may help reduce the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome, say UK researchers.”
I wonder if they have researched hot fudge banana splits as a cure for cancer?

Sweet! All the more reason to keep those little dark chocolate morsels in a dish on my desk!
I don’t know about hot fudge banana splits as a cure for cancer, but they certainly cure depression.

i am not about to ruin perfectly good chocolate by adding bananas to it.
What hipparchia said. And that’s despite the fact that I eat at least one banana in the course of most days. Dark chocolate is more than comfort food: it’s survival food.
I’m glad to read that it also helps with CFS. I wonder: will dark chocolate also eventually be determined to help with CRS (Can’t Remember S***) and CHS (Can’t Hear S***)?
They are safer, and as effective as aspirin, Michael, and they certainly taste better. Chocolate should be included in universal health coverage.
They just need more testing, Badtux, I can’t do it alone.
At this point, Hipparchia, I will not bring up this video in reference to a hot fudge banana split without the bananas.
I must have been writing at the same time you were, Steve. The way things have been going, butter or cane sugar will probably be the answer.
mmmm… butter… sugar… chocolate

It’s a shame they cant determine that Milk Chocolate has all the same curative properties as dark choc. I much prefer it.
CHOCOLATE.
Ingredient of the Gods.
They solution is mixed, Jams, one for the body and one for the soul, i.e. 49 grams of dark chocolate for your health followed by a Cadbury Fruit and Nut for your spiritual well-being.
Jill, surely a higher power meant for people to eat a brownie with chocolate chips, topped with chocolate ice cream and hot fudge, but people shouldn’t get carried away by adding whipped cream and a cherry. That would be overindulgent.
hipparchia – enough food-related preaching, doggerel-on-it!
🙂
