we have decided to celebrate labor day with a bottle of champagne. I’m having a few guilty feelings over using this very bourgeoisie tipple for a proletarian holiday, and salving my conscience with but since it’s not really labor day in the rest of the world…

not to wish anything bad on anybody else, but we’re also hoping to be celebrating that the tropical storm is going to Louisiana, and that it’s likely to be only a tropical storm.

sort of ot, but I think you’re missing a couple of brackets in your XHTML: You can use these tags: section.

I stopped fixing the XHTML section a couple of WordPress updates ago because it was fighting with me and people weren’t using the extras I added. So, these days you are seeing the defaults.

What, the people who pick grapes to make champagne don’t work? Enjoy whatever you like. Tomorrow is Labor Day in the US and Canada. Grover Cleveland backed the first Monday in September to avoid any connection to May Day and the Haymarket affair.
