Next Saturday, May 11th, is the 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive of the Postal Workers. I participate every year by filling a bag with non-perishable food items and putting it on the mail box Friday night. The food pantries need the help, because they are serving an ever-increasing number of people as wages are not keeping pace with the cost of living.
If you don’t have a mail box, most post offices have a collection bin.

this is basically the only charity I do anything for these days, since all my money now goes to feeding a houseful of greedy little ingrates who are always reminding me that world famine is imminent. 😈
I’ve had tenants that really needed the help, and I don’t want to embarrass them by letting know that I’m aware of their problems.
