"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

I’ve always loved this one ever since you first posted it.
Happy NODWISH!
С Рождеством! Yes, it is a personal favorite of mine.
sorry i late, not only forgot frankensense this year but also too forgot to defrost turkee!1!!111!!
and yes i love all your christmas messages — thank you — but this one is still my favorite — wishing you and yours a merry christmas!
It doesn’t feel Christmassy with major rain and temperatures in the 60s.But at least no one is shooting at me, they are saving the firearms for New Year’s.
We made it through another year is in this pit of MAGAts. Next year should be interesting. I’m satisfied I don’t have to deal with my crazy relatives.
As long as you don’t try to deep fry the bird, you’ll still hade turkey sandwiches for the New Year.
i am happy to eat almost anything that’s been deep-fried — just as long i don’t have to catch it, or clean it, or cook it, or clean up after it, and just as long as none of it happens in either my house or my yard. 😈
fortunately the turkey came with instructions on how to roast it either thawed or frozen, so we just ate a bit later than originally planned. ok, a lot later. 🙂
christmas where i was a kid could be anything from blue norther frosty to 80 degrees toasty, so 60s and rain seems normal. also, there are days when i seriously can’t decide which is worse, living in matt gaetz world or ted cruz world. our governor hasn’t (yet) floated a bunch of saw blades and razor wire out in the gulf, so i’m still here. . .
also too, i’m working on perfecting my white chili recipe, so not as many turkey sandwiches happen here.
