The storm has become the third hurricane of the 2022 Eastern North Pacific season.

Currently about 10 miles [ 15 km] North-Northeast of New Bern, North Carolina.

The storm dissipated over eastern North Carolina. This is the final public advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center on this system.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for San Andres, Colombia; Limon, Costa Rica northward to Sandy Bay Sirpi, Nicaragua; Cabo Blanco, Costa Rica northward to the border of Nicaragua and Honduras.

Currently about 325 miles [ 525 km] Northeast of Bermuda.

At 1PM CDT the Tropical Storm Warning has been cancelled by Bermuda as Alex moves away from the island and begins to lose its tropical characteristics.

At 4PM CDT the storm has transitioned to a post-tropical cyclone. This is the final public advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center on this system.
