Sociopathic Scum

The Republicants don’t believe in society or the “General Welfare”. They think the Sermon on the Mount is a Commie plot. They think that the raw greed and selfishness contained in the “objectivism” of Alisa Rosenbaum [Ayn Rand] is the only way anyone should conduct themselves, and miss the point that the creed rejects society.

For example, you have Republicant Florida Congresscritter Cliff Stearns of Ocala who added an amendment to the long delayed bill that will pay the medical bills of those who responded to the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th. His amendment requires anyone applying to the fund must have their name compared to the FBI’s Terrorist List. He doesn’t want anyone on the Terrorist List to receive Federal money.

This is someone who is allowed to vote on the laws of the United States and he thinks that those who are having health problems associated with working at Ground Zero [the police officers, firefighters, medical personnel, search & rescue people, and construction workers who risked their lives on the possibility that someone might have survived the fall of the Towers] might be terrorists.

The amendment is insulting and insane on its face, and Congress should be ashamed for allowing it to be included in the legislation. Maybe people thought it was necessary to get the bill passed, but sometimes you have to do the right thing, not the politically expedient thing.

Then there is Republicant State Sen. Bruce Casswell of Michigan who wants to make sure that foster children know their place: Foster children would be allowed to get clothing only from second hand stores.

So foster parents are forced to obtain clothing for the children they are taking care of only from second hand stores. Their own children get school clothes from WalMart, but the foster kids have to be taken to the Salvation Army.

Foster kids don’t need Republicant scum to tell them that they are always at the back of the line, they figure that out when they are very young. They know they are poor, and they usually don’t believe that anyone really cares about them. They get cut off from all help on their 18th birthday and often end up in the street. And now you have a piece of human garbage like Casswell saying they never “deserve” new clothes, they never deserve to own anything that is really theirs.

These are children, and they deserve to be treated like children, and not political statements.

Full disclosure: One of my former clients was a small business that administered the state foster care payments. No one was getting rich being a foster parent, and the foster kids were not overwhelmed with possessions of any kind. The average kid usually had one favorite toy and a couple of changes of clothes in a plastic bag when they were picked up. [They also had a fast food kid’s meal, a couple of candy bars, and package of gum, if I was working at the site at the time. It would amaze people how many foster kids have never had a McDonald’s Happy Meal. It wasn’t nutritious, but is was something that “all kids have in common”. (OK, so that was my excuse when the social workers got on my case about it.)]

You’re a good man, Bryan. That’s why you’d never make it in politics today.

Yeah, this one with the foster children made my blood boil too. But it’s all of a kind with the GOP scum. I once wangled my way into one of their get-togethers back during the early 90’s and figured out just what they were the moment one of the prominent members started talking about how he was tired of paying his tax money to educate other people’s children (this was a short while after complaining about how he could not find good employees for his business), how public schools were socialism and how people who could not afford to send their children to private schools, as he did, simply shouldn’t have children. I interjected, “but the children didn’t choose to be born, why should they be punished for what their parents did?” He simply sneered “they should have chosen richer parents then.” There was nothing I could say to that, since the man was obviously deranged. You would not know this man, who prefers to stay behind the scenes, but you would know the man he got elected as a Congressman from Houston, a man by the name of Tom DeLay…

They are not only sociopathic scum, but they are utterly deranged, living in an alternate universe where there is no cause and effect relationship between cutting education and not being able to find good employees for your business, an alternate universe where children choose what parents they are born to and thus foster children clearly chose to be born as what they are. The fact that these utter psychopaths are running our nation, more or less, is chilling. The only difference between them and Pol Pot is that they haven’t racked up Pol Pot’s death toll — yet.

The foster child story really chapped my hide, especially since my parents are from MI and I have fond memories of this dying state.

Why can’t people see the evil, yes…pure unadulterated evil…that these republicants are bringing to the “table.”

I am becoming more and more depressed as the days go by with what I am seeing being done to our country and our “peeps”…without a peep from the Dems.

With all that is happening in MI these day you would THINK that the former Governor of MI (a popular DEM) would actually be out in front fighting back..but NO!!!! Why the f**k not?

Liking kids isn’t good or bad it is a basic survival necessity for the species when you think about it, i.e. no kids and humans disappear. Liking and protecting the young should be hardwired into people.

I don’t pay school taxes for other peoples’ children, I pay for my own education. The money was “loaned” to me by my parents and grandparents through taxes, and now I have to pay it back.

If you look at the public education system in the US, the prime mover was the need to provide educated workers for business. Educated citizens was secondary.

A couple of years ago, Toyota was siting a new assembly plant in North America and were looking at sites in Alabama, Michigan, and Canada. Taxes and costs were cheapest in Alabama, but the work force wasn’t well enough educated to work in a modern plant. Canada won in the end because of health care costs. That should have been a wake up call about what was important to manufacturers, but Alabama still works tax deals and doesn’t provide an education, and there is not much Michigan can do about health care, when the legislature attacks foster kids.

Republican policies are not good for business or people in the real world, but they don’t live in the real world, they live in Ronnieland where tax revenue is inversely proportional to tax rates and the MBA is the only meaningful degree.

They are destroying the country and don’t have the common decency to be ashamed of themselves.

4 Badtux { 04.24.11 at 8:23 pm }

Not only do they lack the common decency to be ashamed of themselves, they lack the connection to actual empirical reality needed to feel ashamed of themselves. See my experience with the prominent Republican funder who claimed that poor children *chose* to be born to poor parents. The people behind today’s GOP are not only evil, they are insane. They are insane, and they are dangerous. Yet the Democratic Party keeps treating them like they’re reasonable people who can be dealt with via cookies and milk. It is baffling, and makes you wonder just how many of these lizard people have donned Democratic garb and are behind the scenes subverting the Democrats too.

You don’t compromise with evil. “Colonel However You Spell the Name” is a prime example of what happens when you do, although there are dozens of others in the last 50 years. If you give an inch, they will take everything, as a mile would never be enough.

These diseased forms insist that children be born, and then they deny them food, clothing, and health care. And they insist that they are acting morally when they do it. I really wish they would decide they are too good for the world and hie off for Galt Gulch to die when they discover they can’t exist without society. The world would be a better and cleaner place without them and their enablers.

The Dems on the national level are eating out of the same trough and doing the bidding of the oligarchs, so there is nothing to choose from.

This just makes me really angry and wish I was still in the Scout-Snipers. My team and I would make short work of these bastards, and they’d never see us coming, or going.

As bt said Bryan, you are a good man (as are most who come here, and the ladies too of course). I’ve always known that some people think like this, and have since we left the caves, but most have sense or some minute shred of decency to keep it to themselves! These people care about nothing but their own sociopathic ego’s. The sooner people stop being cowards and deal with these sociopath’s, the sooner things will improve. I won’t hold my breath. As cookiejill say’s, you could call them evil (and they are), but I doubt they have any real capacity to understand the difference between good and evil, these are not even vague concepts to these people, only words to be used to get what they want. They simply are what they are. Rabid dogs and they should be put down, because they can’t be *cured*. These people are master manipulators, and the people and your system (political, legal, educational, journalistic) have been manipulated to the point where they can say what they like in pubic and have no fear of any reprisals. You (generally speaking) are like well trained puppies, waiting for a pat on the head or a bone from their table, that will never come.

I can’t read ThinkProgress much these days. Not because they are bad, maybe because they are too good at what they do. Every day is filled with examples of these bastards, and more seem to appear as time goes on. I only get my US news from Jon Stewart now. Firstly because he reports on what is *actually* going on, and also because he takes the edge off the awesome insanity that is US news these days with great use of satire, parody & irony. Sometimes I’ll eventually think about some item and realize it’s not at all funny in reality, but at the time I see it on TDS, I can just laugh at the insane stupidity of it.

I am just managing to stave off despondency about all of this crap. Kids, f’chrissake, they’re punishing kids… how is that supposed to accomplish anything “conservative”? There is a cruelty in such an outlook that people once took the trouble to conceal. No more… now they’re proud of how mean they are.

I can’t help fantasizing just punishment for these people: I hope their second yachts sink.

8 Bryan { 04.24.11 at 11:27 pm }

You have to wonder what it will take for people to realize how toxic these people really are. This is so far beyond the norms, attacking children !? They have become so blatant about their prejudices and want them enacted into law. They want being poor to be made illegal, and reopen debtors’ prisons and workhouses. They want to convert the US into the conditions described by Charles Dickens.

These people have you cheering for the existence of Hell, so that they will be punished in the end, but they are destructive of the country. “Every man for himself” is not the basis for a society.

The media is as bankrupt as the Republicans, because they refuse to condemn this sort of thing, and refuse to highlight this sort of abuse. These are some seriously sick people and voters are electing them. The voters are just as bad as their representatives.

9 Bryan { 04.24.11 at 11:40 pm }

Steve, I want them to discover the “joys” of poverty and homelessness. I want them to find out what it is like to wade through the maze of paperwork required to get any kind of public assistance in the US. My Mother acted as “guide” for a friend, and felony booking and arraignment is faster and requires less paperwork than food stamps. You have to have money to file for public assistance because they want a mountain of paperwork, and most of it needs to be notarized. It’s like bankruptcy – poor people can’t afford to go bankrupt, it’s too expensive.

The Florida foster care system has been one horror story after another with kids vanishing or murdered, and this scum-sucking bottom feeder wants to be sure they aren’t wearing new clothes from WalMart when it happens. This is the sort of thing that ultimately ends with torches, pitchforks, and mobs. You have to wonder if they aren’t attempting to push until they cause riots and revolution.

10 paintedjaguar { 04.25.11 at 7:27 am }

Really this fundamental cruelty has been on open display at least since that SOB Reagan sleazed his way into office. That’s when it became acceptable to say things like “homeless by choice” out loud in public, instead of just in private. The rot starts at the top, then percolates down to people like my idiot, Fox-watching sister (who is employed by the state, of course. As a case-worker!)

11 Badtux { 04.25.11 at 10:49 am }

Sad to say, Kryten, the most important of the lizard people are largely behind the scenes in undisclosed locations, the problem is one of target identification. You could take out their puppets, but their puppets are just their puppets, there’s always more. You know how that goes.

Steve, a song you might appreciate is going to pop out on my blog around 4:45PM today (yes, your comment inspired me to reprogram my music queue to make it pop out today).

Bryan, yes, that’s the astounding thing. Every single one of these lizard people got elected by the majority of voters in his or her district. Every… single… one. Does that say that the majority of American voters are evil? Are idiots? Are brainwashed fools? I don’t know, I just don’t see any hope for America. I mean, who would vote for people who propose that we send foster children to school in rags (presumably so that *our* children will know not to associate with them)? And a *majority* voted for these lizard people! Whether through stupidity or evil…. doesn’t say much for America and Americans. Either we’re too stupid as a nation to continue to exist, or too evil.

– Badtux the Morose Penguin

12 Bryan { 04.25.11 at 7:50 pm }

Oh, yeah, PJ, Ronnie and his “welfare queen” crap – refusing to acknowledge that the majority of people on public assistance were/are White, rural, children. We have had government by anecdote ever since the media let him get away with that crap.

Badtux, I have come to believe that the only people who really like kids any more are cops and GIs. They have become nothing more than props for politicians – to be used or abused as the need occurs.

13 Kryten42 { 04.26.11 at 6:24 am }

I understand what you are saying Badtux. My job and years of extensive training were specifically aimed at complete threat assessment and profiling of all participants to enable my team to identify and prioritize threat targets. We were very good at our job in Cambodia. When it was very difficult for forces on the ground in a specific area of operation to identify with certainty the real threats, we were sent in. Part of my mission in the 80’s around the World was to identify potential threats to out National Security (and income!) 🙂 For some years (until 2009) I was (and officially, still am) a Snr. Coordinator and instructor for Vic Police & Private Security companies for Project Griffin (terrorist threat identification, assessment & coordination with security assets, which began in the UK in 2004, and has been adopted here, Canada, Singapore, SA, and recently in the USA).

I am not exaggerating when I say that if I decided I want to find out who is doing what to whom… I *WILL* find out (as Lady Min can attest to). 🙂 And I can tell a puppet from a puppet-master. They are not all that hard to spot actually, though they would like everyone to think so. 🙂 As I have said before, it always about threads and patterns. And these people will be exposed, precisely because they think they are safely hidden away. Puppets can be a very useful tool by the way. They can either be used to help root out the masters, or to send a very clear message to other puppets or their masters. I have no problems making bastards like these wish they had never been born, and teaching them the true meaning the carrot and the stick. Even bastards like these have some *thing* they care about, once I learn what that is, the rest is easy. 🙂

Unfortunately, it is only wishful thinking on my part now. I have neither the means nor the fitness to do anything other than feel angry and frustrated. But I can still spot them. 😉 Maybe, one day, I will find a protege with the required skills and means, and I can point them in the right direction. Who knows? There would be many *target’s of opportunity*. 😉

When my team was first deployed in Cambodia, we carried out our first mission successfully and quickly. We thought. Then we were told that six villages had been totally destroyed with every man, woman, and child butchered in reprisal. After that, my team and I went after the bastards with an icy ruthless zeal. We had learned our mistake. It didn’t happen again. We spent almost three months learning everything about the regional warlords and the command structure. Our orders were to stop local warlords from terrorizing villages and hampering negotiations. We took out the heads, and terrorized the local bastards so thoughtfully, that not another village was troubled. I faced a tribunal for exceeding my orders and was sent home. I didn’t (and don’t) care, that was stupid politics. I knew I’d saved many lives at the cost of a dozen or so worthless ones, I’d do it again.

I know how to deal with bastards like these, in the only way they will ever understand, because I have. And I can promise that wishing they would become human or simply go away, or that your vaunted *Justice* system (which they essentially control) will deal with them, will never happen. There is little difference to the way these bastards think and Pol Pot and his leaders. The only difference is these have not yet begun *openly* killing people to get their way. But that will come. 🙂

14 Badtux { 04.26.11 at 12:35 pm }

I would dispute the notion that they aren’t *openly* killing their victims. See, the thing is, their victims die of “natural causes”. Hey, starvation and exposure are natural, aren’t they?

Every year we hold a memorial service for the homeless who have died of “natural causes” here in the Silly Cone Valley, the richest area of the richest nation on the planet. Every year there are yet more names to add to the memorial. Every year. It’s the same thing Pol Pot did — starve people to death or let them die of exposure in the fields — just in slow motion. And it’s happening *NOW*, not some time in the future.

15 Kryten42 { 04.26.11 at 8:05 pm }

When they are openly killing anyone they want as they did in Cambodia in the 70’s, or East Germany, or Darfur or one of the other tin-pot dictatorships (many of which the USA are in some way responsible for), then you will know what it’s like. *Civilized* Governments all over the World have been, and are still, responsible for neglecting it’s poorer citizens to the point where many die because of it, and have since before the Roman Empire. That’s nothing new. When you will not be able to comment on a blog because you will end up in prison (at best) or dead, then you will know what it’s like. And the signs are there, it’s beginning.

Yeah, things are bad, and will get worse. What are you and all the others doing about it? *shrug*

16 Badtux { 04.26.11 at 10:21 pm }

Thing is, resorting to outright brutality is not the way of the American lizard people. They’ve figured out that most people are (rightfully) appalled by violence and might wake up from their sheep-like grazing upon the consumer landscape and look up and realize what exactly is going on. They prefer the slow way. “Natural causes” sounds much more pleasant than “exterminated in death chambers”, but one is just as dead either way. But as long as the majority of Americans are not in danger of dying in such a way, and as long as the majority of Americans do not see any problem with voting for the lizard people every election, it’s hard to say what *can* be done about them. Kill them all? But then you run into the same problem the lizard people face — violence appalls most Americans and they would turn against you. Impose a dictatorship over the sheeple to keep them from voting for lizard people? Yes, that turns out really well most of the time, doesn’t it? (Sarcasm intended).

That said, despite the lizard people largely refraining from overt violence, there is a reason why I blog as a penguin rather than as a human being. Aside from the normal threats of violence that any liberal blogger gets in the United States today, which I shrug aside (the worst that ever happened there even when I blogged as a human is that some scumbag egged my car, which didn’t do much for the paint job but it was hard to notice on a puke-rust-colored Chevrolet Chevette anyhow 🙂 ), the reality is that becoming known as someone who is not a politically reliable member of the Party is a career-limiting move in many professions. While it is quite easy to trace back from my penguin persona to the person behind it, a casual Google will not reveal that connection, and a casual Google is all that most employers do prior to hiring. This actually proved to be a problem in the past, when a certain incident involving my real name and a certain other party was in the news and made it difficult to find a job for a stretch of perhaps six months until people forgot about it and the Google rankings went dormant, which further demonstrated to me the wisdom of remaining pseudonomynous — and also clarified exactly how the mechanisms of social control work. The lizard people are indeed cunning, if not particularly intelligent… why should they *directly* send you to a prison camp and condemn you to starvation, when they can instead arrange to have you rendered homeless and unemployable and have you die of “natural causes” at some point in the future where their fingerprints will not be so evident? After all, simply not hiring you is a lot cheaper than a bullet or Zyklon-B!

To say that I am not optimistic about the future of the United States is an understatement. The fundamental structural problems that have led to the current situation appear to me to be irresolvable, and are leading inevitably to a disastrous denouement. The only faith I have is that I shall faithfully document the U.S. slide to collapse, and salute as it goes under. Too bad I shall be watching the water rise over my own head as it happens, but so it goes. Perhaps something worthwhile shall arise from the ashes of collapse. Perhaps. I suspect I won’t be around to know.

I do understand what you are saying, and understand your point of view m8. I also understand that because you were born and raised there, you see and feel what’s happening there in a different way than I as an outsider (and my having lived in the USA for a year, and several relatively short visits, doesn’t give me the emotional attachment you of course have), but I do have people there I cared (or that I cared about who are no longer alive). And it does make me angry and sad for a whole range of reasons, and not just because of what these bastards are doing to the USA, but the effects on my home and all around the World. And I feel very frustrated too. 🙂

I wasn’t advocating wholesale murder BTW (though, in truth, I don’t consider it murder, simply because I believe these scum resigned any humanity and human rights they may have had long ago. If anything, I’d consider it making fertilizer, they would at least finally serve a legitimate purpose!) 😛 😉 Yeah, yeah… I’ve heard it all before! 😈 My training was all geared towards precision, surgical strikes with a high-degree of certainty. It wouldn’t take many such strikes to make all the cowardly bastard rats run screaming in terror (especially when part of that is ensuring they know I know who they are, and they are on the list!) 😈 (*shrug* The thought of that makes me smile anyway!) 😛

I don’t pretend to know the whole answer or have a final solution. But I do know these things have been solved throughout history, and without anywhere near the means of communication etc that we have today. 🙂

I guess I’m just hoping (though I really hate that word these days) that it won’t happen the way it always has in the past. Millions have to be brutally slain before the rest say “Enough!!” and rebel against the masters. I saw it first hand in Cambodia (which is why I constantly use it as my *benchmark*. I am absolutely certain of what I know because I was there.) Because when the general population waits until it get’s that far, means that many, many more will die than might otherwise be necessary. and it wouldn’t take a bloody revolution (though that is an option), I don’t think things are *that* bad yet, but I do believe (as do you) that time is running out for anything else. You need to get back you media, ad your Justice system first I think. And that’s a lot easier to say than do, I know. But I think it is doable. 🙂 Truth is, that whilst many people around the World despise the USA (the Nation, because they can see the USA is at least partially to blame for their own problems), they would be willing to help the people make it right, if they asked. At least, the sane, intelligent ones would. 😉 🙂

The first thing Americans must realize, is that these bastards *ARE* master’s at manipulation! But they are not actually very bright or knowledgeable individually (you can easily see that when any one of them is caught out with a question they haven’t been prepared for). You (and by *you* in all the above, I mean the collective *you*, not you personally) have to get them off their message, make them look the fools they are. It’s not that hard really. 🙂

There are still many good people in the USA, but many have been thoroughly conditioned to simply accept, and hope. (and BTW, that alone the first time I heard Obama give his first speech all about *Hope* on his Presidential campaign, was enough to ring loud alarm bells, and I said as much at the time on this blog. I suspected then he was just another one of *them*.) This blog, if only in a tiny way, proves that there are decent humans living in the USA. 🙂 These bastards won’t win in the end, but sadly, I suspect it will get worse before it can get better. Who knows, maybe we’ll both be around to see that! 🙂

I just watched TDS, and it has a great example of someone *putting their money where their mouth is* (or, if they have no money, fully realizing that *actions speak louder than words*.) 😉 Annnnd… I have a whole new hero! You ALL should watch, really. 🙂

TDS – April 25, 2011 – Gigi Ibrahim

The interview’s at the end of the show. (You can skip all the Royal Wedding garbage). She put’s what the rest of the World thinks about Foreign Policy in a very succinct and accurate nutshell. 😉 😆

American’s could learn a thing or two (now *THERE’S* a radical idea!). 😛 😉

19 Badtux { 04.27.11 at 11:11 am }

The United States faces some fundamental structural problems with the very organization of its society, Kryten. Outside of the evangelicals, who have built functioning communities based upon unreason, there is little “community” left in the United States, just hoards of people huddled in their homes being narcotized by television and video games. That is not a recipe for successful community-building, that is a recipe for a nation of sociopathic dysfunction, which is what we’re seeing. Americans live in isolated suburbs where there is nothing to do because everything to do — theater, library, shopping, whatever — is somewhere else and there is a lengthy car trip to get there, a system of residence inherently anti-community. The car-based organization of American society, an organizational structure based on a combination of racism-fed suburbanization and conspiracies by auto makers that destroyed public transit, is unsustainable in a time of peak oil but every time you mention that, the howls of outrage from the narcotized zombie hoards unnerve anybody who might actually be thinking of implementing solutions and solutions never happen. Solutions of the type you mention and such as what happened in Egypt arise from communities, not from isolated individuals, but given that the only actual functional communities left in America are the evangelical ones… well. Now you understand why American politics is so heavily influenced by the evangelicals far beyond their actual numbers should show, and why the evangelicals are gaining in number despite the intellectual impoverishment of their ideology. They offer something that human beings need — community — that is not on offer in many other places in the parched wasteland that is American society.

I do not believe that America’s lizard overlords are going to actually kill millions of Americans with bombs and bullets,but I do believe that before the end game is finished, there will be millions dead of “natural causes” (hey, starvation is natural, right?) or of American-on-American violence where our lizard overlords throw hunks of red meat over the fences of their walled estates and then gloat as we tear each other’s throats out to “win” that hunk of raw meat. Why should they lift a finger when Americans seem eager to kill each other for little more than possession of a handy streetcorner for selling the illegal drug of the day? I do think sanity will eventually reassert itself once reality forces its way into the picture, but there will be dead bodies everwhere and I have no idea what kind of society is going to emerge from the rubble of failed state America. Whatever the end game is, it’s going to get worse before it gets better. A lot worse. Because unlike Cambodians, who at least had some connection with reality and could put their lives back together after Pol Pot got kicked out, most Americans have no skills and no mindset that could be used in the real world as vs. the fake world where most Americans are engaged in selling overpriced real estate and Chinese trinkets to one another. (Well, not so much the former anymore, but the latter, definitely). See Bryan’s neighbor who couldn’t even figure out how to replace a plumbing trap, who lacked even the fundamental mentality that things could be repaired…

Whatever happens, I shall be documenting it — and the solutions — as long as I can. That is the only thing that keeps me going some days when I know there are solutions, when I know the solutions have worked elsewhere and will work here, but I know the solutions can’t happen as long as the vast majority of Americans aren’t interested because they might have to, like, actually budge from their suburban hellholes and do something to rebuild America. Fixing the fundamental structure problems underlying the visible problems you see from overseas is not going to happen until Americans have no choice, and that’s going to be some hard, hard times. In the meanwhile, at least I can munch peanuts in the peanut gallery and shout at the assorted fools acting their parts in this deranged play that is America today, even if it is to no real effect because the majority simply refuse to accept that their way of life is over, done, kaput, an evolutionary dead end that cannot survive the reality of Peak Oil…

I filly realize that the USA has major problems with even the basic structure of it’s *modern* society, and it’s infrastructure is a shambles and getting worse. I blogged heavily at Loaded Mouth for years not long after 9/11 and at other blogs, even dKOS, C&L, TP in the early days, (before they became *commercial*, though in fairness, some of these blogs have become quite large and expensive to run, and I understand that. But a few have gone commercial and quite political with a vengeance, to the point where they have become difficult to distinguish from the MSM). I learned a lot from other bloggers who lived all over the USA and knew what was really happening because it was happening to them. I learned all about the disaster that is your *Health Care* system, and your Justice system, and infrastructure (such as basic roads, bridges, water & electrical supply, etc) from people that it was all happening to, not from the BS *Media* or the typical *Someone said…* type word of mouth comments. And believe me, because of my experiences all over the World, and even here (especially under Howard), I truly understand.

I believe you are right, and I have said so many times in the past long before I began commenting here, that the fundamental problems must be addressed, and are getting worse and harder to fix every day. How *we* convince everyone,,, *sigh* I don’t know. I tried at LM and elsewhere for years until I couldn’t continue. We convinced some, but not enough to matter. Some started their own blogs to carry the message, but for every one that started, others closed. It just get’s too hard after years of seeming to get nowhere, of preaching to the choir. 🙂 Been there… yadda!

You and I (and Bryan, and Steve, And Lady Min, and Hipparchia, etc, etc, etc…) are all different. 🙂 We all have different skills, experiences, beliefs, understanding and wants & needs (and of course, we have similarities also). But I think one important thing we have in common, is a fundamental *Humanity*. One thing that is often misunderstood about *who I am*, especially when they learn of my background and training, is that people often think I’m just a soldier or some trained killer, even assassin. And all that is true. But they miss out on the fact that my primary training was as an observer. My training was long and hard, and started when I was a child. It’s partly why after all the Military eval’s, I was offered the opportunity to join an elite and small group. Being a primary observer isn’t about seeing only what your eye’s see, but observing the patterns, the flows of things, group dynamics, of comprehension and understanding. Part of my training was in NLP, Psychology, Sociology, History… it was intense! The combat training was dead easy by comparison! We were up at 5AM, and worked our asses off until lights-out @ 9PM We did the equivalent of three years at Uni in a year. 😆 I learned to spot the leader in a group (of any size), and every group of people *has* a leader, even if they don’t know it. 🙂 A leader is easiest to see when one observes those around them, their body language, their reactions, their responses, what they say, etc. The true leader is not always the one with the loudest voice, or the most visible.

My problem is that I am not at all sure that there are enough *sane*, intelligent, decent humans in the World to overcome the rest. Looking at history, it seems to me that the basic gene pool was corrupted some time ago, and it’s getting worse. It’s not just the USA, not at all! I truly despair. Most days, I just can’t wait until it’s over, and I’m glad I’m one day closer to my own inevitable end, and I will no longer have to look out at the World, and see and understand. If I were a coward, and had no honor, I would have terminated my existence long ago. I have not liked what I see for a very long time, and I am exhausted. It’s why my health got so bad, why I just gave up. I suspected one day, that my subconscious (which is very devious, like everyone’s) was potting me in situations where my health would deteriorate and I would die without having to *pull the trigger* consciously! 😆 (and yeah, I do find it amusing). 😉 I know because I can se the patterns within myself. I’ve never been very good at self-deception. But these *lizard-people* (as you call them), and their sheeple followers, are masters at self-deception. This is why it’s extremely difficult to convince them of *reality*. They don’t see it, and they don’t want to see it. They believe that if they *hope* and try hard enough, what they believe will become true. Even if they have to kill off everyone else to achieve it. 🙂

I preferred Cambodia. It was painful too see and to be there, but it was also simple and straight-forward, and the evil bastards were always easy to spot. And I did my job. And I enjoyed watching them die, and I will never apologies for that, I am not a hypocrite. I will never forget the looks on the faces of the villagers we saved, and the hugs and tears of relief all around, even from myself and my team of super hardened warriors! It’s what kept us Human whilst we were there. 🙂 It’s the only way I can sleep at night. It was a small drop in an ocean, but we achieved some good. Some of the villages *adopted* each of us, and members of other teams (even American and German). There are things (both very good, and very bad) that none of us have never told anyone about what happened there, and never will. It forged a very strong bond between warriors from several Nations. And I know those who survived feel the way I do. I have wondered what would happen if we sought each other out… and decided to do something. 🙂 That makes me smile, yes, it does make me smile! 😀

I’m past preaching to the choir, I blog to vent, not preach, because otherwise I’d take it out on the poor purrrballs or something. My readership is in the dozens at best, and it really doesn’t matter much to me because I’m past the point of deluding myself that I can stop what’s happening.

Interesting take on this:

I learned to spot the leader in a group (of any size), and every group of people *has* a leader, even if they don’t know it. A leader is easiest to see when one observes those around them, their body language, their reactions, their responses, what they say, etc. The true leader is not always the one with the loudest voice, or the most visible.

This is what amuses me most about the anarchists. Their solution to the problem of hierarchical society is to abolish hierarchical society and have a society with no leaders. But we’re talking about human biology here, and if you examine the dynamics of anarchist groups that explicitly reject having a leader you still notice that these groups have one or maybe more leaders who seem to initiate whatever they end up doing. Usually these people don’t even realize they’re leaders, they just see something that needs doing and start doing it and others in the group notice and pitch in and start doing it too, but it’s there. Humankind spent millions of years as (mostly) hairless apes and only maybe 10,000 years as civilized human beings, civilization is still just a thin veneer on top of the inner ape.

I truly despair. Most days, I just can’t wait until it’s over, and I’m glad I’m one day closer to my own inevitable end

Thing is, studying history, what we’re seeing today is the usual way of human existence — a feudal existence where the mass of humanity is ruled over by ruthless feudal overlords, where it is the most vicious and venal, not the best, who rule. Go read Dickens. I sometimes reassure myself that we are at least planting the seeds of possibility that might some day, after things hit bottom, sprout into a viable society, but really, most of the time I just shake my head and concentrate on observing the trainwreck in process. We are living through history, after all, and it deserves trained observers to document it even if the trains are long past the point where application of the brakes will stop them from colliding…

Ah, yes, the leader. A good cop knows that when you ask “who’s in charge?” you watch to see who the group looks at, or the anomaly in crowd spacing around an individual. Of course you may see multiple people marked, which gives you a bit more leverage of playing internal groups against each other to resolve a situation without any paperwork.

[Note: cops are filling out paperwork in donut shops. It beats trying to bear down through multi-copy forms in the bad light and cramped conditions of your patrol car, and they are open all night. The sugar-high and caffeine are just extra benefits.]

Blog rants are a lot better for society in general than direct action. Unlike the Cambodian villagers, most of the people in the West won’t understand or appreciate direct action against their real enemies as a result of existing in the fetid swamp of propaganda that is the media.

Their plans for the children were revealed by the governor of Texas, speaking to some of his wealthy lizard supporters. He laughed that the public school kids did not need music or art because they will wind up working on the oil rigs anyway.

Don’t the British do something like this? Start tracking kids mercilessly from an early age and quickly shunt them off to training for trades if they don’t distinguish themselves academically in childhood.

It isn’t just the British, most of the world outside of the US have must-pass entrance exams to determine the type of schooling children are assigned. In much of the world you leave school at 16 and enter an apprenticeship of some kind. This is a major problem of international rankings on education, it really is an apples and oranges comparison.

OTOH, the stated purpose of public education in the US was to provide educated workers for industry if you go back and look at the history of public schools, so Governor Goodhair just wants to go back to the beginning of the 20th century, rather than the beginning of the 19th – very enlightened for a Republicant 😈
