"There are two novels that can change a bookish 14-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

The only question I have is whether the groundhog that poses as Donald Trump’s hair saw his shadow. Well, there’s also the question of what candidate it’s endorsing in the GOP Dwarf Race, but that’s somewhat less interesting.

Yeah, that was a real shocker – who could have imagined that one 1% finance crook would endorse another 1% finance crook rather than a 10% wannabe?
Actually this is Imbolc, while Catholics use the feast of St Brigit or Candlemas to cover the celebration. We can’t be celebrating any ‘pagan’ holidays that are based on astronomical observations, it would be too uncivilized.
The only shock is that the dupes at Politico got leaked the “scoop” from the Trump camp that Trump was gonna endorse the Grinch, and frantically rushed that into “print” on their web site. Now they have egg all over their face. Couldn’t happen to a better (worse?) buncha partisan hacks, heh! So now ya think they’ve learned their lesson that half of what gets leaked to them by insiders is lies? Probably not, the Village has the attention span of a ferret…

Ah, I wondered why so many people seemed to have posts about a Gingrinch endorsement. Reading Politico is brain cell abuse.
Trump may have told Newt that he would endorse him, and then switched when the news was leaked. He doesn’t like people messing with his ‘announcements’.
Of course, Donald and Mitt both enjoy firing people, so that may have played into the decision.
