CC’s looking for trouble means there will be no trouble… a sentinel is a boring job.
She makes up for the boredom by purring loudly until some fool put an unprotected hand down to pet her so she can savage it.

Monday cat blogging – since mine can’t go outside, they can’t bring me gifts of dead mice, or dead squirrels, so they’ve started leaving me gifts of dead palmetto bugs instead. I woke up about 4am with a migraine this morning and thought I’d go ahead and get up… and stepped on something crunchy with my bare foot.
That is the most objectionable thing about palmetto bugs, and the fact that if it happens on a tile floor you can end up on your bottom.
I’m just waiting until somecat gets the bright idea to leave one on the pillow, instead of on the floor beside the bed.
You shouldn’t even think about things like that 😉
