So You Know

I’m feeling a lot better these days, but I have been entertaining out-of-town guests, which has reduced my available ‘Net time. They left this morning, so I hope to return to the regular blogging.

And I’ll supply additional cat pictures, plus musical accompaniment by Jimi Hendrix and Robert Johnson 🙂 .

The BBC is always a source for off-beat cat videos.

Jimi and Robert Johnson are always welcome.

Happy to hear you’re doing better, Bryan! Being operated on is always a toss-up, isn’t it? You may have to get these things done, but you just never know what the consequences will turn out to be.

Anyway, just in time for the 4th! Now you can celebrate.

Actually, I’m still waiting for all of the bills to arrive. As near as I can tell, the only major bill left is the surgeon’s fee and I have no idea what it will be. After I see it I will know if the cure was worse than the problem.

I celebrate the 4th inside a solid building because of all the morons who shoot guns into the air. Not quite as bad as New Year’s, but bad enough. Idiots really do ruin what were once a fun times.

“Actually, I’m still waiting for all of the bills to arrive.”

Often that can take months. And then, you wonder who all those people were, and did they really do all those things they are charging for (doctors, specialists, laboratories…)?

Even for a relatively simple doctor’s visit and annual check-up, there seems to be a ridiculous series of bills and insurance papers that continue to come in for a couple of months. I can only imagine the resulting paperwork for a surgery and hospital stay.

Still, it’s obvious you’re on the mend. We can tell, when you don’t post, it’s not good…

So, it’s a relief to see you back on. I may not always comment, but I’m always lurking around somewhere. LOL.

First off, Juanita, I apologize for the failure of the spam software to recognize you.

The hospital has submitted their bills, but now I’m waiting for the doctors to bill me. I note that none of them use a local company for billing. So far I can see some relation to the treatment I received, but I did file some protests for my Mother, as she was billed for procedures that never happened.

I appreciate your membership in this community.

Thanks, Bryan. I’m glad I wasn’t just being bumped out. 🙂

And I appreciate your hard work in trying to bring some sense into this rather strange world we find ourselves in today. It’s a tough job, and really no one has to do it. It’s a gift that there are actually people left who are willing to forget about the “panem et circuses” long enough to chew over the things that 90% of people seem to willfully ignore.

Then again, the bread and circuses can be entertaining to watch. But I like to watch it with people that know the worth of it as a comedy rather than reality!

Politics has become bad performance art.
