In Non-Puppy News

A Canadian citizen and her son were refused entry to the US after being questioned about her religion and her attitude about Drumpf. She was told that she had anti-US videos on her cellphone. As the videos were in Arabic, it is not clear how the CBP personnel knew that the videos were anti-US.

Iran thanks Donald Trump for showing the ‘real face of America’s political and social corruption’. That’s right, Iran’s Supreme Leader has thanked Drumpf for clearly demonstrating what schmucks Americans really are.

We are the kind of schmucks who who use the murder of a young woman to justify hate, contrary to the wishes of the woman’s mother.

Both the CBC and the BBC looked at Drumpf’s claim that the media doesn’t cover acts of terrorism. They both discovered that a few of the 78 events were in the “Bowling Green Massacre” space-time continuum, and therefore couldn’t be covered in this one. The CBC wrote that the University of Maryland data base had 320 incidents in 2015 alone and wondered why Drumpf didn’t want to talk about the overwhelming majority of the terrorist attacks that didn’t involve purported Muslim perpetrators, like the Mosque attack in Canada.

Perhaps if Drumpf tried reading foreign news sources rather than FOX and Breitbart he would discover 24-hour coverage on events like the Lindt Cafe in Sydney, Australia. If he had taken the effort to learn a few foreign languages he would have a much broader view of the world. Going to bed in the early evening so you can get up in the middle of the night to insult and annoy people is not an adult habit. [Proverbs 27:14 KJV He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him.]

Been doing a lot of digging into Trump’s background. Looks worse by the day. I already know about Bannon. I dealt a lot with that lunatic & his fledgling Brietbart during my “Loaded Mouth” years BD (Before Dumka). 😉 😀 Exposed a lot of his BS & helped keep him from doing much damage. We released a lot of legal documents over the years. About his failed marriages, restraining orders, child abuse, etc… Also a lot of other crazies. *shrug* But, that was then…

Anyway, something else you might find interesting:

A battle rages for the future of the Web

If you rate ‘winning’ by making money, then Trump is a definite loser, because he isn’t worth what he inherited from his father. His current ‘worth’ is inflated by his estimate of what his brand is worth. After the White House his brand will have negative valuation. His whole family is into the ‘value of their brands’. They need to wake up and smell the sewage, because Drumpf is pissing away their value as he pisses off the rest of the word.

Bannon is a fascist, just like several of Drumpf’s closest advisors, and fascists really aren’t liked by the majority of people in the world.

Tweet from (supposedly) “Rogue WH Staff”:

Many inside WH shaken by accuracy of Moby intel. Not Bannon, though: “…maybe he needs to start eating meat again, his brain is fried.”

Moby Shares Secret Donald Trump Intel Gleaned From His Friends In DC

after spending the weekend talking to friends who work in dc i can safely(well, ‘accurately’…) post the following things:

1-the russian dossier on trump is real. 100% real. he’s being blackmailed by the russian government, not just for being peed on by russian hookers, but for much more nefarious things.

2-the trump administration is in collusion with the russian government, and has been since day one.

3-the trump administration needs a war, most likely with iran. at present they are putting u.s warships off the coast of iran in the hope that iran will attack one of the ships and give the u.s a pretense for invasion.

4-there are right wing plans to get rid of trump. he’s a drain on their fundraising and their approval ratings, and the gop and koch brothers and other u.s right wing groups are planning to get rid of trump.

5-intelligence agencies around the world, and here in the u.s, are horrified by the incompetence of the trump administration, and are working to present information that will lead to high level firings and, ultimately, impeachment.

i’m writing these things so that when/if these things happen there will be a public record beforehand.

these are truly baffling and horrifying times, as we have an incompetent president who is essentially owned by a foreign power. -moby

Guess we’ll see, eventually. If this were the 80’s, I & my team would be on a plane by now. *shrug*

And now General Flynn is out, presumably because he was leaking classified information to the Russians. They say that if Flynn saw a bottle of Russian dressing, he disclosed classified information to it just out of habit.

I gave a “meh” to Carl Hiaasen’s “Razor Girl”, saying “eh, not enough Florida weirdness in it.” Then a friend pointed out that it had as much Florida weirdness as usual for Hiaasen’s books. The problem is that there no longer a contrast between Hiaasen’s Florida and real life anymore. We all live in Florida now.

If Carl Hiaasen and Tom Clancy collaborated while being juiced out of their minds, they still couldn’t come up with what just happened.

6 Kryten42 { 02.14.17 at 1:00 am }

So, Michael Flynn is gone. One down, many to go. *shrug*

This just tweeted by Rogue POTUS Staff: “Media finally learned Yates raised flags re: Flynn before being fired. What they’re still not seeing is that it’s the reason she was fired.”

Wouldn’t surprise me if that were the case.

They also tweeted: “Latest office betting pool speculates on how long before POTUS has withdrawal seizures due to being put on twitter timeout.”

I was thinking something like that myself. 😆

Badtux: posted @ same time. 🙂

Oh, I said Trumps stupid “SEE YOU IN COURT” tweet would backfire on him! It has. LOL

A federal judge in Seattle says district court proceedings on President Trump’s travel ban shall continue, even as an appeals court weighs whether to rehear the case, according to Reuters.

U.S. District Judge James Robart ordered both sides in the legal battle to continue on Monday, and reportedly expressed surprise that the White House had even requested a delay since Trump declared “SEE YOU IN COURT” on Twitter last week.

So Trump’s infamous way of “making friend’s & influencing people” is obviously a winner. Or not. 😉 😀

Federal judge says court proceedings will continue on Trump’s travel ban

8 Kryten42 { 02.14.17 at 3:04 am }

And no surprise here. I said this would happen before inauguration.

The Spy Revolt Against Trump Begins

“Intelligence Community pushes back against a White House it considers leaky, untruthful and penetrated by the Kremlin”

It’s quite a good —and for some— eye-opening read. Especially given:

“Trump ran a campaign based on intelligence security. That’s not how he’s governing. Phones — especially with their flashes turned on for improved visibility — are portable TV satellite trucks and, if compromised, can be used to get a great deal of information about what’s happening nearby, unless precautions are taken. Precautions weren’t taken. One of DeAgazio’s photos shows Trump using a phone at the table, within view of other diners while sitting next to a foreign leader.”

In the 80’s whenever we wanted to know what USA was up to, we did a deal with the Russians. Now, we wouldn’t even need to go that far! They’d be too busy laughing in hysterics! Heck, many I knew would be falling over each other to tell us, just to get the first laugh in!

9 Bryan { 02.14.17 at 4:27 pm }

Russia had been behaving itself for years, but when Putin came back after his constitutional rest, he reverted to Soviet era tactics, like the Tu-95 flights along the US and NATO borders. He also started intercepting US recon aircraft, which was not really all that common during the Cold War. He ran on the same platform that Trump used – Russians who were members of the Orthodox Church were the real Russians and everyone else was classed as untermenschen. Anyone who protested was an ‘enemy of the people’, a terrorist.

He has gotten really pushy since the price of oil plummeted. Since he can’t ‘buy’ respect he is using ‘other means’ to ‘Make Russia Great Again’.

Drumpf has pissed off the intel community, and they aren’t going to put up with it. The amateurs in the White House don’t know how to turn on the lights, much less control the generally smart nasty people who poke through other peoples’ trash and look through their windows.

Judges are absolute autocrats in their own court rooms. You don’t taunt them, or otherwise annoy them, because they have all the power. You can appeal a decision, but only if you can show an error, not simply because you don’t like the result. It is beyond stupid to think you can intimidate a judge by going where s/he wants you – in his/her courtroom.

This explains everything, Badtux.

The people at the White House don’t even know what they don’t know about what they are supposed to be doing. They have to spend their time guessing what the boss wants them to say or they will be fired from a job that doesn’t actually have a real description, although courtier and/or suck-up kind of fit.

10 Badtux { 02.14.17 at 7:12 pm }

To be fair about that light thing, Bryan, a lot of the lights in the White House are controlled by IR sensors. IR sensors aren’t capable of detecting cold-blooded creatures such as reptiles. [/snark]

11 Bryan { 02.14.17 at 8:20 pm }

True, but they should have learned to counter this problem with a hand-warmer to disguise themselves 😉

12 Kryten42 { 02.15.17 at 1:03 am }

LOL Well, Trumpet has returned to usual form:

Rogue POTUS Staff ‏@RoguePOTUSStaff
“POTUS finally dropped the C word toward leakers in WH. Wants to “sue their pants off” in court.”

Elizabeth Warren & Bernie Sanders have been tweeting up a storm the past couple weeks! But not the Trumpet kind of garbage, of course! It’s good to see someone is trying to keep the pressure on & asking the right questions. 🙂

They are concerned about many issues. Lately about H.R. 861 – Termination of the EPA Agency.

There are bill’s either in the House or coming to terminate other Agencies also.

13 Kryten42 { 02.15.17 at 1:34 am }

So, it appears that now the Clinton camp is doing something. They created a 6m video of the Trump camp ties to Putin:

Russia first | The Briefing

The US Secret Service is a total disaster, but will now probably get worse!

Secret Service Director to Retire, Allowing Trump to Pick Successor

Under the director, Joseph P. Clancy, the Secret Service successfully handled the challenges of a presidential campaign and a papal visit, among others; hired more agents; and began a reorganization intended to correct past failures. But morale continues to suffer. Last year, an annual survey of places to work within the federal government ranked the Secret Service dead last among more than 300 agencies.

In 2012, Secret Service agents working in Colombia to prepare for a visit by President Barack Obama brought prostitutes to their hotel rooms, leading to the dismissal or resignation of several agents. In 2014, the agency failed to prevent an armed guard working for a private security agency from riding in an elevator with Mr. Obama, a violation of Secret Service protocols. Days later, a knife-wielding man scaled the White House fence, ran across the lawn and entered the building before agents stopped him.

In a little good news, I don’t think Conway will last much longer. She’s looking older every day! Trump will dump her when he tires of her, as he usually does. Plus, he doesn’t like looser’s. 🙂 I guess he’ll have to find someone else willing to sneak around the residential area late in the evenings. 😉 😆

Ethics Watchdog Denounces Conway’s Endorsement of Ivanka Trump Products

The Office of Government Ethics “has not yet received notification of any disciplinary or other corrective action against Ms. Conway,” Walter M. Shaub Jr., director of the office, wrote in a letter to Stefan C. Passantino, the deputy counsel to the president who is the designated ethics officer at the White House.

“There is strong reason to believe that Ms. Conway has violated the standards of conduct and that disciplinary action is warranted,” the letter said.

14 Kryten42 { 02.15.17 at 2:27 am }

And this:

Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts With Russian Intelligence

But the intercepts alarmed American intelligence and law enforcement agencies, in part because of the amount of contact that was occurring while Mr. Trump was speaking glowingly about the Russian president, Vladimir V. Putin. At one point last summer, Mr. Trump said at a campaign event that he hoped Russian intelligence services had stolen Hillary Clinton’s emails and would make them public.

The officials said the intercepted communications were not limited to Trump campaign officials, and included other associates of Mr. Trump. On the Russian side, the contacts also included members of the government outside of the intelligence services, they said. All of the current and former officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because the continuing investigation is classified.

Ummm… Is anyone surprised? 🙄 *sigh*

Adam Khan has been working with others & has put together some some diagrams to help show links Trump & co have with Russia.

15 Bryan { 02.15.17 at 12:44 pm }

Trump & company are an ethical disaster just by breathing. Kommissar Kelly is going to push the ‘brand’ because ‘product placement’ is why she is paid. The proof of Trump’s lack of business acumen is his failure to understand how being President was going to affect his business empire.

Putin does a dossier on everyone he does business with and he will have accumulated enough on Trump that Russia is untouchable while Trump is in the White House.
Trump is going to have a ‘purge’ at the White House, and the people who leave deserve no sympathy – they should have seen what they were getting into, so they aren’t worth hiring.

Frankly the US is getting what it deserves for electing him.

16 JuanitaM { 02.15.17 at 3:01 pm }

Since you are our Russian expert, I’m interested in your take on this. You have probably already read about this, but a Russian spy ship (the article’s designation) was seen about 30 miles off the coast of Connecticut. I have no idea whether this is something to be concerned about as a solitary incident; however, I am concerned that the news seems to be all Russia all the time now. There almost doesn’t seem to be a day that goes by that isn’t chock full of some Russian provocation or a news item about Russia/Trump, etc.

What do you think the Russians are up to on their end? Just having a good laugh at our expense because they can or is this a means to some end?

17 Kryten42 { 02.15.17 at 3:22 pm }

From my experience, they are probably testing the waters (no pun intended) to see what the US reaction is (they know what Trump will do, want to see what everyone else will do) & to better eavesdrop. Also could be intelligence gathering from their people in the area. And possibly testing new equipment. *shrug* 🙂

18 Bryan { 02.15.17 at 4:36 pm }

There were always one or two Soviet ‘fishing’ trawlers off Shemya. They were mostly rust held together with paint. We always joked about buying life preservers and donating them to the crews. In additions to the trawlers there should be a few subs off the coast. We can locate them and they are toast whenever the button is pushed. They stopped doing this for years to save money, but Putin has started doing it again. They are scooping up anything they can, which is what we do. No worries, all part of the Great Game.

This is all part of Vlad’s program to take Russia back to the 19th century so he can be the Tsar.

19 Jennifer { 02.15.17 at 4:38 pm }

I’m a nurse so not an expert unless it has to do with nursing but I have never seen this kind of chaos going on before. Dan Rather compared this to Watergate but I think this is worse. By a long shot. BTW Rogue WH is awesome to follow on Twitter.

20 Bryan { 02.15.17 at 7:35 pm }

This is what things are like in a corporation when a new CEO takes over who has no understanding or feeling for the culture and decides to use the ‘new broom’ approach. Generally there’s someone who is more than ready to retire but was held over to smooth out the transition. They are the ones who get to say things like: “I would love to help you with that, but you fired everyone who had the passwords and knowledge to do that last week..”

This is what running government like a business really looks like, Are you impressed?

21 Bryan { 02.15.17 at 8:30 pm }

Additional thoughts: The Nixon White House was more disciplined than the day care on Penn Ave. They faced a Congress that actually cared, and the Washington Post didn’t put up with interference.

I watched a lot of the Watergate hearings in a motel in Texas waiting for a new head to be installed on a Datsun 2000 that I was driving to California for my next duty assignment. I was still operationally under the National Security Agency. I really missed access. It is better that I don’t have access these days, as I’m not sure I could continue to keep my mouth shut.

22 JuanitaM { 02.18.17 at 11:22 am }

I thought I had responded to this post the other day, but apparently I wrote something but neglected to hit “Post”. Sigh…

Anyway, thanks Bryan for your perspective. Good to know that this is just business as usual. It just seems like the news is obsessed with everything Russian, and there have been no recent articles on things like the ‘uge islands being built by China in the South China Sea. Apparently, this isn’t all that important?

(Dang it, this time I’m hitting POST.)

23 Kryten42 { 02.18.17 at 12:08 pm }

Twitter is all..a atwitter over this by WaPo:

John McCain just systematically dismantled Donald Trump’s entire worldview

This was followed by MSC2017 head Walter Ischinger (possibly the USA biggest friend in Germany) stating in DW: “It would be a non-military declaration of war should Trump continue to advocate against the EU”.

Many Journalists have taken to Twitter with a vengeance over Trumps constant attacks on them.

Victoria Brownworth
@realDonaldTrump Many of us who are journalists have risked our lives at some point. I have. Colvin & Ochlik lost theirs. We are #NotTheEnemy!

Phil Williams
This is the @Newseum’s Journalists Memorial, listing the 2,291 individuals who have died around the world reporting the news #NotTheEnemy

Interesting times, indeed!

24 JuanitaM { 02.18.17 at 2:14 pm }

Interesting times, indeed!

You said it, Kryten.

In my opinion, Trump has no idea of the jeopardy he is in by making McCain his enemy. While Trump shows disdain for POW’s, he may find that they have learned a thing or two in dealing with dictators and crackpots. McCain survived and overcame people that would make short work of someone like Trump and he (Trump) is completely clueless to that fact.

Let the games begin. I guess…

25 Kryten42 { 02.18.17 at 3:18 pm }

Yeah… But there is hope! The problem with groups like the current GOP, is that they can’t help but squabble & fight. They are all egomaniacle narcissists. They will only allow someone to lead when they stay on message, but the message changes internally often! They can’t actually agree on anything! *shrug*

I came across this awesome bit of insanity. This is an example of a Trump Voter. Worth $millions. Believes the Earth is flat (seriously!) LMAO But then, he’s a sports jock. Brains not included.

NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving is a flat-Earth truther

Denial does not get much more insane that that my friends! 🙄 Unbelievable.

26 Bryan { 02.18.17 at 4:16 pm }

People have a right to their opinion and to believe whatever they feel is suitable, but they don’t have any right to impose their opinion or belief on anyone else, What I object to viscerally is the insistent of Trump and his minions that they own the patent on the truth and no one else has a right to disagree with them. When you spew lies about everything and demand to be taken seriously and have your words accepted as holy writ without challenge you are either a con man or crazy.

Juanita, the Chinese are the more serious problem because they are engaging with the outside world after decades of isolation. They are testing and probing. We can’t be sure what they will do, because we don’t have the depth and history of interaction that exists between the West and Russia.
